When I turn it makes a horrible noise and the tires will lock up. Took it to the shop and they couldn't figure it out. They checked the transfer case and the rear end. Any suggestions on what it could be? Ms RuDe Awards

I would try a different shop, possibly someone specializing in trannys and transfer cases. is it all the time 4x4 (AWD)?

My truck was doing something similar, it kept trying to go into 4 wheel drive because the switch was stuck. I put in a new switch, $60 and 10 minutes. Worked fine ever since. Might be worth a try. They told me it was in the transfer case, also. Maybe to get more money. Google it and maybe you can get some what of an idea. Awards

The CV axle is going out which is causing the censor malfunction for the 4X4 high. Awards
