Hey all,

Just recently my computer ventured me into the matrix (lines on the screen) and then my screen just started to go black. After a lot of "FUCK!, DAMN IT! and WHAT THE FUCK!"s being thrown around,  it now doesnt load past the "Starting Windows" screen.

I googled all the symptoms and it came down to a Videocard problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good PCI-Express videocard  that can play the most recent games. I'm only looking to spend up to $150, but the cheaper the better. My old card was a GeForce 8800 GT.

 Thanks!

nVidia 550 TI. See Belted's email to you. Canada Computers has one on sale for $124, marked down from $144. I bumped up to one of these from an 8800GT and it was well worth it.

You may find an NVidia GTX560 somewhere between $150-$190, I can play Black Ops and BF3 with it on Full Res. or a little cheaper is the GTX550ti, may play some newer games on medium resolution.
