If true, who even knew there were even 600,000 mac users that would visit these type of sites? The nature of "drive-by" attacks makes anyone's machine at risk. If you believe one has to visit a certain genre of website to risk infection, you are very much mistaken... Awards

Bottom line is you need to have visited a malicious or hacked site while having java installed but not updated to the latest version to get this malware.

It is good to make sure your are up to date though.
