hi all is there some-where you can chance the quality of the video in xfire i've just recorded my map and the xfire quality is real poor i can't find any way to do it thanks markoff

hi all is there some-where you can chance the quality of the video in xfire i've just recorded my map and the xfire quality is real poor i can't find any way to do it thanks markoff

 

Yeah Markoff remember this from Greywolf open the console an type /demo MARKOFF hit enter.

 

When you go to watch the video First you need to be in the mod of which you made the demo. Also when you type in the console you do not add the " " to the demo

 

I already edited them out on the pinned post.

So if i made a demo of me in the server, Once i am in the mod i would open the console an type /demo greywolf2 hit enter Do not type it in like this /demo "greywolf2"

 

Again if anyone is having trouble get a senior admin or pm me for any help......

thanks beers but what i'm doing is making a video of my my new map on my testmap to show you all so its not like i want to record someone in game

Whenever I record a video on Xfire it saves three different versions of the same video. If you click the video icon from your home Xfire console it should say:

 

Source Video

 

Encoded Video

 

Remote Video

 

When I playback a video on my PC or upload it to youtube, I always use the version that is saved under "Source video" because it's the highest quality. The versions under Encoded and Remote, not so good quality.

 

Also make sure on your Xfire video settings that you have it set to record sound.

Restart your Xfire. They did an update today to fix the video issues specificly.
