I wonder if my ISP could force my data to take the east coast route rather than via Europe? I play less these days due to the extra ping. It would be great to play more often if I could get back to 275. 320 is just frustrating after a while. Anyway it is what it is, I'll call them and see what they say.

Yes the distance explains our pings for sure. I will tracert for you and post when I have both examples. Dropping back down to 275 is a rare occurrence but it does happen. I guess the server move to Canada added more distance and therefore increased the ping as a result, but the fact that some times it does come right is confusing. I will let you know when I have both tracerts. Cheers

Mine is the same Nighto, normally 320 but every one and a while I get 275. We both got 275 is on the old server location, but since the move to Canada our connection suffered the same fate.
