I tried several and all of them say they can't open archives! Not sure if that means the maps were archived for some reason or what but I am asking.

from there I see 2 files with MP as part of their names which one is the real file for my damned maps lol Oh by the way Labob thank you so much for you help.

Also I have already applied this patch last night. Just wanna make sure I do it right.

Well Funky it won't let me just drag it over there and replace the existing one. Please take me step by step so I know how to do this. lol

I think I am getting real close to being able to play a little. Please tell me we have the patches here and what are the links to each of them. I also would appreciate the links to the maps for both or other wise I will spend more time downloading than playing. lol Thank you for the effort.

I just wanted to say thank you to all who responded for my call for help. I used to be able to do all this stuff but my memory these days seems to be quite lacking. I am back to full power and my system is running cooler than it ever has. The SSD is a vast improvement and I love the speed it works even on the community access I am on. My temps are all around 30 degrees C and I don't remember when that was ever the case. Thanks again maybe I can install COD again and come and play some. We will see how that goes. Once again THANK YOU ALL!

yes and btw it seems to have worked itself out! I now have sound on my TV! I don't have a clue as to how but it did!

Loader you were right! I forgot that WOW was loading in the background so I paused it and Nvidia is good!!!

I went to see what all was listed from Nvidia and Loader I can't find anything. So where does that put me? I presume this means all and any drivers ?Okay so I did all that yet it still won't install anything from Nvidia. I am still getting the message that there are other things installing so wait and try later. I don't have anything else installing

So it may be my firewall?

But my system as far as the hard drive is brand new. My first time on line was this morning. Would that still be the case?

I have been trying to get my new setup to where I can sit and enjoy playing for a while. I usually use Nvidia Experience and have had pretty good luck with it over the years. Now I try to install it and I get this message "Nvida installer can no longer run" in grey lettering. Barely visible behind this is another message that says there are other apps being installed wait and try later. I then after waiting quite a while decided to restart and see if that made any difference.. NO it didn't and there were no other installations running. With all this before I restarted was a message that some program was holding installations up because they need administrators okay. So I tried again but trying the install by running as administrator. Still wouldn't work. I need some expert advice once again. These all used to work flawlessly but now they are being held up.......

I had a whole speaker system I used to use but with the TV I stopped using them as the TV didn't make the walls rumble what with my hearing problem. lol

I have been using it all along but with the new HD it simply doesn't see it so I am stopped in my tracks.

Now I am trying to set my flat screen TV up as my audio but it doesn't show it as well. Any suggestions?

I made it by going back to the old hd and saving the driver to my Slim-Jim ssd external and then switched back to the new SSD and installed the drivers that way! Thanks guys for all the help. I used to do this stuff somwhat but after having a nervous breakdown I can't remember a lot of it so I hope you all understand!

I had just reinstalled to old hd to come back and ask if that may be tom problem. Now can I just get the wifi driver first and then get connected and do the rest? as this is wearing me out going back and forth.

Yes I did and do! For some reason though it's not recognizing it right now. I think I know what to do now so I am going to try it and see. If not I will be back!
