Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! I've figured it's been a while since I've posted for help on something, (sadely my last post didnt work out ) But with all seriousness I thought the Xtreme Idiots would be deffinetely the place to turn to in this sort of help If you are willing to help of course, I am working on modifying my Dell Case and getting a new GPU and PS. So I know alot of you have experience on these things and I have a few questions if you are willing to look into this more. Current Rig: Operating Syste: MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 CPU: Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.80GHz Lynnfield 45nm Technology RAM: 3.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz (9-9-9-24) Motherboard: Dell Inc. 0G3HR7 (CPU 1) Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5450 Hard Drives: 244GB Seagate ST9250315AS (SATA) 488GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AAKS-75V0A0 (SCSI) Optical Drives: HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GH50N Audio: Logitech G930 Headset Im planning on getting the CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Aaaaand the EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P3-1469-KR GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Although I'm still deciding, so if anybody has any better ones that they know of! Im thinking of maybe a Evga 550 TI 2 gig instead but I think the 560 would be more worth it. But onto the case modification thing! (Pics below of my rig) I think its a medium ATX case (it deffinetely isnt as small as my schools computers ) and has limited airflow so I got some fans from a friend and got them running, I'm going to be making a vent system for the side so I can put three fans blowing into it and maybe a fan on the inside (Im not sure if thats safe) The two fans on the front are for blowing air out while there is a fan on the back that also blows air out, i'm planning on double fanning that since the internal one isnt very fast. Now, some people may think im insane for doing all of these modifications. Well, a 560 wont operate well in a 1 slow Air-out fan environment. Buuuut, now for the Power supply! I've seen some reviews on Newegg of people putting there PS's ontop of their case, and i'm thinking that may be a good idea because almost all PS's over 600 watts have a fan on the top, and I dont need any more hot air inside of my case. So I can just mount that thing on the top and do some mounting modifications and take out my 350 watt PS and lead my cords through there and put a fan in its place. (I have no idea if this is possible) So really my question is, will this all work? Or am I just that insane to even begin thinking so? lol. THANKS! For the Ipod and Iphone "Scany" is a really nice app for mobile Wi-fi scanning. You can scan for other devices and computers connected, port scan with a LOT of options. and scan custom IP's.

hahaha, nice man. I wish I could do something like that at my school. But the principal suspended somebody for taking a couple tootsie rolls off the ground.... so.... Yeah, wouldnt be the best idea .

If I had 525$ I would. But All I have is 2 bucks, and thats going into my mountain dew fund! REALLY nice guitar though man, wish I knew how to play even acoustic though (learning!)

Heres a question for all the Ubuntu users out there! Is there a magical way that I can get Malwarebytes, Avast, or MSE to run on Ubuntu through Wine? I installed wine and everything (Correct version of course since it installs and runs notepad!) but when I install Malwarebytes or Avast it installs correctly but it never runs, most of the time it will just have a box on the bottom left saying "Starting "insert program here") and then it just dissapears and I get nothing. Nothing is showing up on the system monitor afterwards saying that it is running so is there any special way that I have to install or something? I want to be able to malware scan computers with my mobile Ubuntu (Would make life MUCH easier then trying to remove malware through the infected OS) (running 10.10 Ubuntu (was too lazy to download latest)) (its installed on a USB too, im running it right now with chrome typing this ) Thanks

Common change adult change issue ;P Took me a couple months to get my parents use to Chrome instead of molasses slow IE8/9. Just keep using it and you will get use to it man. Humans are not positive to change, but that doesnt always make the change bad. If you really cant get use to it then just get chrome man, I've never been a fan of any other browser since Chrome is open source and has a lot of good plugins, everythings one click and done. And everything complex works like it should. (I made my facebook to ALWAYS use HTTPS on everything) I also have HTTPS encrypted google searches. And twitter. :} The government wont get to ya if you use chrome!

It should be usable on an Ipod, I've been noticing some of the same problems too. Also theres a problem with the uploader through Google Chrome. Had to go back to IE to upload my profile pic. *shutters* So slow IE9 was. I cant believe people still use it .

Alright, well thanks guys. I didn't expect so many replies! But I'm very grateful for them . Its really just come down to the problem of, if I just keep on trying I stress myself out and if I dont try then I get stressed out about missing out on what could be. But I think I'l just play it cool for now and try to accept that whatever happens, happens. If nothing happens, then why worry?

Thanks Dean, but the most that can happen from rejection... is a lot. But its not the thing of dating, its the thing of that. Yes I do want to have a relationship with her but I kind of cant do that if shes trying to avoid me because my mind tries to avoid her. Right? And really... this is what I've tried to explain to many people. Dating in school really isnt anything, its more of a social responsability to be together than actually liking each other. 95% of relationships in my class end with no feelings what so ever. I'm not a person that would just go and date somebody because their popular or look good. So I want to be good friends with her, but it's hard to when I fight against myself. :{
