DEEJAYKEG In the Sixties, we sat on books on top of single roller skates to fly down a hill in the woods. How none of us avoided broken bones, I shall never know... We made bows and arrows out of bamboo garden canes, string and tape. Wife shot her brother in the chest - arrow went in but didn't kill him! Always been very respectful of her... Reminds me about going down huge grass hills inside the empty cardboard box that a refrigerator comes in...with 3 other kids, how in the hell nobody got seriously hurt I never see kids now a days doing any cardboard sliding down insane hills. The Bamboo also reminds me....we used to have about 6 huge willow trees in my backyard.....and the whip fights we had were brutal.

I would ride one today if they made one big enough. 2 words........."Green Machine" those bigwheels were superior! fucking A......... I remember when they came out. I had one already and parents would not get for me. I was trying to remember what it was called.. knew green something but I kept coming up with green mamba. They had the hand break where you could spin real easy. Kids today missing out on a real life.

Go back and listen to all the good ska I already posted! Op Ivy started out ska, then more punk...all their songs have a little ska in them. NoFx started out ska, then went punk. Rancid has a ska/punk style thats cool. I definitely know the meaning of ska. (living in Berkeley...there were allot of ska bands out here...not sure about now days though)
