  1. Some times when I sneak behind an enemy spawn and kill a few people I quickly change my name to "Everyone" or "Everybody". It's hilarious to hear people say "boom boom is here", "no its everyone", "guys everyone is in our spawn". This amuses me, aaah the little pleasures of life. Other times I change my name to another non-XI player's nickname so it confuses the heck out of the other team. I changed it to Cute|boobies once and I went radio silent. It was just funny to hear all confused people. Screwing with people's minds so much fun .
  2. I tried, figuring out the settings was not intuitive, I have the attention span of a 3 year old. I moved on to AMD Gaming Evolved - Raptr which takes no hit on my FPS. The only caveat being that it works half the way. The quality is much better too.
  3. If only XFire wouldn't crash on map loads, I would record my games. It just doesn't work right. I tried the AMD gaming Evolved but that crap isn't baked yet.
  4. She was not Indian, she was a Pakistani politician, and former Prime Minister. Now deceased, she was assassinated in 2007.
  5. You're right moonpie, that's very true about the people turning off smoke and trees but its hard to prove. Without proof it is all but an educated speculation. If anyone has any ideas how to figure this out let me know, I will give it a try. I don't mind getting kicked by PunkBuster for a good cause as long as it's not a permban. I agree CIs are horrible this time, and they come at the most in opportune time. On another note, not that I am bragging or anything... haha 33 kill streak on the first screen shot. You may call me a noob if it makes you feel better, but I don't spectate to 'learn' tricks its for pure entertainment. For me its like watching TV before going to bed. @[member=moonpie] I brought my KDR from .3 to 1.57 and usually skill rating is within the top 5 not that I care too much for that but just to say I know how to play well.
  6. I just realized it has a cross hair. I guess that comes up when you replay a recorded demo and then I used XFire to record the recorded demo.
  7. Oh I misunderstood. Good, let me know how this turns out. I have the same one 750W CX 80 PLUS.
  8. The ARTIC had quad rails, a single rail is much better for load distribution than a multi rail. A high performance single rail has more stability than a multi rail.
  9. If you still have a choice to cancel the order I highly recommend you get the CORSAIR. It's a trust worthy brand, cheap PSUs come at a price and lose efficiency much faster than quality PSUs. 60G is plenty but you may run out sooner than say 100GB. I have a 120GB SSD that I use as my boot OS for Windows 8.1. I have 65.6 GB free after 1 month of installations.
  10. Take a look at the choices here, do not cheap out on PSUs. I know UK is expensive because of all the taxes but if you've to pick, go for 80 PLUS certified. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_11?url=search-alias%3Dcomputers&field-keywords=corsair%20psu&sprefix=corsair+psu%2Caps%2C486 Although I recommend the 750W this 600W may also be good enough for you. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CX750-Builder-Series-Bronze/dp/B008RJZR40/ref=sr_1_9?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1412149089&sr=1-9&keywords=corsair+psu
  11. I just remember your mobo died cause you shipped your fully assembled system across the country through regular shipping. You do know the conveyor belt used by the shipping companies movies at 40mph and they don't slow it down on the corners. The boxes hit, and bump in to each other. Also, I don't recall if you ever tried a different PSU to verify if it was just the mobo. Your case is way different than his. I just remembered this as I was going back on this thread to see if I missed any detail. @@eidolonFIRE.
  12. Found a good article on Hit Detection/Input Prediction. It explains how some times we can empty an entire clip in to someone, they would never know it and you would be frustrated as hell. This happened to me today on a very small map. Scripter was on the stairs camping our spawn, I ran in the dark behind a counter and emptied an entire clip in to him. I went full burst half way thru then adjusted my aim again and went small bursts nothing fucking happened. He didn't even look at me. I reloaded and just went full AUTO and got the kill. My lagometer showed no red spikes I didn't check Scripter's ping though. Anyways, a snippet of interest from the article below. Source: http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/networking-lag-compensation-and-hit-detection.1125018/ "You shoot at the guy on the left, because that's what you see. However the target is moving to the right. You aim, and shoot. Your console/PC sends your position, direction, and the fact that you shot to the server. Now lets say that you have a latency of something nuts like 200 ms. By the time that your command reaches the host/server, the target has moved to the spot on the right. But if the game utilizes the data exactly as you sent it, then it would register as a miss because there's no player there now. This is where Lag Compensation comes into play. Lag compensation effectively "rewinds time." It digs through its memory for a game state that matches the client's information and implements it under those conditions. This accounts for latency, interpolation, and anything else that creates a time delay that the game can manage to quantify." Therefore, those who have a ping of 300ms or higher, thank you for playing but FUCK your ping. Giving you the stink eye @@Nighto , the stink eye.
  13. When I had similar issues with my PC, there were 2 things causing this. #1. My memory timings in the BIOS and the voltage to the memory. I was getting all kinds of BSODs, everytime a differente hardware driver file. I suspected my GPU so I tried a couple different GPUs problem didn't go away. Ultimately I ran memtest+ test number 5. Found the artifacts and then found the proper timing voltage relationship with trial and error. #2. My PSU was not of superior quality and had high varying voltage on the +12V rail (e.g. 12.5 12.7 11.99). The current amperage rating was at 35A and if I would overclock there were stability issues. It would crashes whenever I would run heavy tasks but they were random so there wasn't a pattern I could relate to it. Ultimately the PSU died, I bought a nice $90+ PSU (62A, 12.5V solid) and I can overclock my system to 4.0GHz no issues. It stays stable doesn't give any more random BSODs. When a system gets old, the first thing in it to die of old age is the PSU. Followed by spinning HDDs, followed by anybody's guess but likely audio or video card. The motherboard PCB is sensitive to flexing. If you move your motherboard and at any point it bent even the slightest that will most certainly compromise the internal circuitry of the PCB layer. Your CPU going off like that is a 1 in 100 million shot. The manufacturing process for CPUs makes it very hard to build CPUs that would just die that unless of course abused. Go in the BIOS and watch voltage on the +12V rail see if it fluctuates. By the way my PSU that died was 3.5-4 years old.
  14. He now finds you weirder than me. Women are expensive man, they take the peace out of your life one piece at a time. Financial strain, mental strain, if only you could create one on a computer and print it with a 3D printer, with a silence mode option... LMAO!
  15. You're shady man, very shady.
  16. Correct. Apart from network lag, there are localized lag injections to be considered. CPU, GPU Rendering (negligible), Display input lag (ms) + Screen Refresh. In BF4 I noticed that when my CPU is OC'ed to 4.0Ghz. The number 2 seconds is very high, the localized lag would be in milliseconds and anything totaling over 100ms would be a serious disadvantage to the player. Add network lag on top of it, and I mean the connection interrupts not the ping to the server itself. An average 60Hz monitor refreshes the screen 60 times per second that means your screen image is refreshed every 16.67ms. If your screen refresh rate is 5ms. This 5ms is the time it takes for all the pixels to be updated with the new bitmap. Add this to the 16.67ms and then the actual time it takes to display a new bitmap on your screen is 21.67ms. This does not take in to account the input lag, your GPU sends the updated image to your monitor but the monitor needs time to process and do the above mentioned actions. The time to do this processing may be in parallel to the screen image update time. For the fastest TN panel its around 7-8ms. Believe it or not this difference in msecs adds up and makes all the difference in "I got shot before I could even see them." You twitchy bunny don't flatter yourself, haha. Actually the most fun for me to watch is @@JAH, he is like an action hero in a cartooned movie, and yes you're pretty fun to spectate too. On a separate note, studying one's game play gives you insight and you can predict their movements. It's very fun to do.
  17. I don't trust you.

  19. It's the PSU. Clean power can make all the difference in a stable and unstable system.
  20. Why don't you enlighten us, all knowing almighty ?

  24. Fine, l was hacking. Stay negative! Edit - 9/28 4:47AM : I will PM you @@Angel.
  25. Those are compliments S@lty, I will soon write an iBoomBoom's guide to compliments. I will refer you to that, haha! I am never mad when I get killed, when I yell or call people names its simply trash talking. I won't be offended if you mute me, honest. I know where everyone is, I am amazingly magical that way . Explanation: In the round before that one you were in that bunker one of the last few of your team, taking out my teammates as they approached the door. Between my teammates reducing bubbles and the corner of the door, I saw your feet and shot my tube. Upon your death you uttered "ofc". I know the feeling wasn't mutual but I enjoyed it, since it was someone formidable that I took out. That kill gave me a car. I used as soon as I came out of spawn protection. The timer is equal for everyone, so I assure you you were very visible when you decided to run to the same spot and I tried to blow up the car on you. Stealth perk has nothing to do with this. My running and using the car in that direction was completely random, so was your spawning I think. When I tried to blow up the car, it showed me the Hardwired (aka Eavesdrop) icon. This is where psychology comes in, how people think and do things. When we have success, we try to do the same things to achieve similar results. I guessed with a 7% probability of success that it is you, since you were there last round. So knowing you can hear me, I enticed you without any certainty that is indeed you. I was hoping you would say something so I can be sure. I do it to {ESC} Bas too when he is sniping from the usual spots. I kept chasing you, because It's more of a challenge to kill someone who is using Hardwired and trying to evade you than someone who isn't. To put it simply, I guessed its you but I didn't know until you were killed. Hope that gives you closure, and of course I am amazing , haha. Gooney and I play this game all the time when we are in opposite teams. I try to find him with my car or missile and vice versa. It is very gratifying when you're right.
