Wipe your OS and re-install everything, if the problem persists, follow step 1 On another note: I have windows 8.1 too, occasionally I get the iw3mp.exe error it normally has to do with a new map being loaded or some rendering failure with a particular mod. There are many factors that contribute to this instability, sound card, gfx card, drivers, directx, overlay software (e.g. xfire). I did not have this issue on Windows 7 x64 if that informs you in any way. I have an ASUS P5 Q Deluxe with RealTek Audio that I used for the longest time before switching to Creative X-Fi Sound Blaster MB PCIe. Anyhoo, this game is old and directx 9 is becoming a legacy with time. At some point with newer OS this game will completely start breaking down.

This has some of the bugs that you already resolved in the mod on the NY server. I like my new shiny low ping (80ms). My hit registration is better, I don't need my config tweaks anymore to assuage the lag effects. @@CobraBites you have a 60ms ping what the hell are you complaining about.... bad cobra bad, spank the cobra! On another note, I kinda liked that dot, for all weps that had little to no sway that dot was awesome. Keep that pointed to your target, doesn't matter how much you sway you get your hits. Especially, when you were defrosting. Bring the dot back, you can keep tthe rectangle. TROLL ALERT: You know what would be really great, if we move the server to Dallas, TX - better yet Silicon Valley !

Well, I know this is the previous version of the same mod we have been play in the NY server. This mod doesn't have some of the fixes that Sammy made to the NY server. I like this PA server for the following reasons: - Better latency for me from 108 ms [NY] down to 8 0 ms [PA] ( I am in California) - Hit registration for me is better, I can actually get credit for 1 shot kills, my KDR has been higher Don't like about this version of the mw2noacr - Body Armor aka Helmet - FUCK THIS SHIT, nade, car, tube and that fucking thing survives. 1 full clip from the M16 mother fucking bullshit. Actual headshots don't mean anything. For all who have lag issues, welcome to what we have suffered the past months. You guys enjoyed great latency to NY server and didn't have the issues that you do now. Well, moving the server, however temporary, relieved some of that for us west coasters. I did extensive optimizing of my COD config to work with the previous server. Roughly 75% better hit registration after making my optimization changes. This new server is even better. If anyone wants to try my config, PM me, it just might help you too.
