oh another thing i did to help my losing connctions is .my house was wired for internet cable up and down/but now times have changed .everything is wireless SO I only use cable at my computer now with a wireless router.I used to run thru 2 splitters before i saw the signal.I though about that and disconnected all the other cables and removed all spiltters-it is significantly faster loading and now no disconnects and resetting router anymore-hope that helps someone tinkering about
