Haha, ya not that simple I'm afraid. I'm just working on COD5 maps for now. Very time consuming and lots to learn as far as methods and tips for creating structures to terrain. Depending on what game you are looking to do something for, our downloads section has a number of tools for this. hey @Sikon Porting maps as it's referred to is not as simple of just importing them from one game to another. You would need the map's raw files and the raw map or arena file in order to re-compile for the game you would port into. So, to answer your question, you need more than noob skill level. Don't feel bad, i've had no success in porting old maps either.
