There is no longer an xi downloader that is supported. As for in-game map downloads, there is nothing that can be done. At times, a download can cause the game to disconnect or in your case crash. This is a result of running custom maps and modded servers and if it occurs, will be at the time a new map loads. What you can do is... 1. Don't touch any keyboard keys when trying to download. This is one thing that can throw you an exception error and crash the game. 2. Exit server to menu, give it a couple of seconds to load the next map, then join. You'll still download but now the server has loaded the map however you should now download without issue. 3. Check the waw club discussion as others have asked. I believe there are still links to download waw custom maps. Sorry, not much more can be done. Just have to be patient.

Good day all, If you haven't noticed yet, we now have a CTF server up. I am open to suggestions for proposed changes as this is here for you folks. Current settings are a somewhat mixed softcore/hardcore and is running on the open warfare mod with modern weapons. Right now, running stock maps while I'll check out what can run. Here's some details on how it's currently set up so have a read and try it out. Gameplay - dynamic attach/detach weapon attachments allowed - safe zone set around objectives (ie. no betties/satchels allowed to be set in near vicinity) - health packs enabled - binoculars enabled - streaks: 3 radar; 5 dogs; 7 artillery Gametype - return flag by touching it - unlimited lives - score limit is 10, round time 20 min - player carrying enemy flag is allowed to also return own flag - team balance is immediate Server options - no voting - teams are auto-assign - power rank all weapons and attachments - OT is 5 min with 3 lives - 8 sec intermission to allow players to change classes - 10 sec strategy delay at each round Check it out. As I mentioned, this is running the open warefare mod so there are plenty of options so if you think of something, let me know and I'll see what we can do. Cheers and hope you all enjoy the change.
