Man, I am extremely jealous! Beautiful landscapes there. At the moment, I'm living in Boring Flatland™

When i heard the news of Adam West's passing, it hit me like...like...

Street photography. This one screams "despair" to me, from his posture, his hands, to the momentarily empty street. From the moment I noticed him to the time it took me to move to the right, crouch, compose the image, and get two frames, maybe 3 seconds elapsed.

We had a severe thunderstorm warning this afternoon, so I did the only sane thing: I chased the storm! Approaching, under the western edge, and receding from me:

Whoa, whoah, whoah!!! "The fourth incident in Quebec was done by white supremacist. They kill anyone who isn't white so I do not consider that an act of terrorism." Say what? The intent was to kill as many of an identifiable group as possible, and instill terror within that group. Of course that white supremacist was a terrorist! More murders were committed by white supremacists in the USA than jihadists since 9/11. Where's the politicians decrying those acts of terror? Terrorists off all colours and stripes must be dealt with swiftly and in the same fashion. Terrorism is terrorism.

My wife nudged me awake this morning before 5:00 AM. to let me know that she heard thunder. I hopped out of bed, grabbed my camera and tripod, and within 1 minute of setting up, I caught this image. The storm petered out quickly afterwards.

Quite possibly one of the best instrumental Jams I've heard in a long time. Drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, with former RHCP amazing guitar player John Frusciante, current RHCP guitar player Josh Klinghoffer on keyboards, and Bassist Flea on trumpet (he was a trumpet prodigy before he picked up the bass).
