  1. A good group of us played this, it was draco, murda, phud, otto, def, beavis, and I. was a lot of fun even though def was cursing like a sailor the whole time lol.
  2. I'm sorry to hear about your dad and I understand trying experimental cures when faced with death. I'm glad we help you think and I believe you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. There is probably no harm in having him drink your kangen water, so its worth a try but please consider that you can overdose on anything, even water. I guess what I am saying is don't drown him and go ahead and try your water but look at other treatments as well. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/strange-but-true-drinking-too-much-water-can-kill/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intoxication
  3. Im liking it so far though I think we need to cut out some of the bigger conquest maps. Its not easy to play golmond railroads with 10 people. Really kills the server when we forget to vote lol
  4. Who said I was speaking for you? I am speaking for those that share the opinion that a forum shouldn't be spammed with repetitive threads on the same topic. Nothing more and nothing less, of course its all opinion and you should really treat it as such. I am sorry you mistook the word "many" for "everyone".
  5. LOL being a member or not has nothing to do with it, i am a part of this community and I feel multiple threads on the same topic is just silly. nothing against you, I just believe I speak for many people when I say we don't need five or more threads on the same topic filling up the general discussion forum....can we please merge this into the already existing thread?
  6. Did you really need a new thread?
  7. Its a Free market after all, though eventually they will probably go the way of the Sharper Image when they decided to sell Air Ionizers. Consumer reports pretty much put them out of business because they did a real study and found that they were actually harming people instead of helping them. http://www.airpurifierguide.org/faq/what-happened-to-ionic-breeze Also I'm convinced that HXTR is just huge troll, and he doesn't even believe a word he says.
  8. lol I am not sure what your definition of "independent study" and honestly I misspoke and should have said scientific study to be more clear. Regardless you provided two sites that literally have "ionizer" in the URL and has nothing to do with consumer reports. That is not even close to a credible source, and its extremely obvious they are in the business of selling water ionizers. The very site you linked is talking shit about kangen water ionizers. It literally has a full paragraph saying " DONT FALL FOR THE KANGEN WATER SCAM" only because they want to sell you their water ionizer, its all complete bullshit regardless as they are both scams. http://www.alkalinewaterionizers.org/consumer-reports-why-are-kangen-water-ionizers-so-expensive/
  9. HC fans can stay in their HC server, and SC fans can go to their softcore server, this is classic which is a completely different mode with its own fan base, which is the whole point. So basically HC fans like HC and SC fans like SC and classic fans like classic.
  10. Whats your favorite food? Whats your favorite desert? Whats your favorite condiment? Now Im Hungry.
  11. Hmm, if someone watched me in spectator mode, I bet it looks like I snap to my targets as well since I play with an insanely high sensitivity and use a fingertip grip. My mouse movements are extremely twitchy, and if I happen to be on fire that day, it will probably look like im cheating. The way I usually find cheaters are by watching in spectator mode and seeing if they are tracking players behind walls, that or an insane amount of head shots with an insane amount of accuracy.
  12. Im having duck for lunch today.... Also Odd job, your prediction was wrong
  13. No, you see classic is not soft core, therefore you cant really call it a second soft core server. It is the first XI classic server for those players that don't want hardcore but also don't want Doritos. Also it will take time like always to build a fan base within a server, I wish we could have done it with a new server instead of disrupting a current server with an existing fan base but this is what the admins decided. I will do my best to support it when our other servers are active.
  14. Hundreds of reasons, not hundreds of studies lol. As far as I know, not a single account of a placebo-controlled clinical study on alkaline/ionized water in humans has ever appeared in a mainstream, peer-reviewed medical journal. but there is science that disproves it. http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/latimes/doc/422107642.html?FMT=ABS&FMTS=ABS:FT&type=current&date=Jan%2022,%202007&author=Chris%20Woolston&pub=&edition=&startpage=&desc= http://www.chem1.com/CQ/ionbunk.html#REFS
  15. There are hundreds of reasons "why not" because its been dis-proven by scientific facts, while all the reasons of "why" are supported by marketers that gain from selling them. All you have to do to convince us that we may be wrong is find a proper independent study (it doesn't even have to be double blind) that supports your side of the argument. That is how you can properly argue your case, otherwise you just sound like a nutjob. We have been trying to help you see reason instead of what you currently see which is a combination of not wanting to be wrong and the placebo effect. Or at least that's the conclusion we came up with because you refuse to give us any real evidence and instead just get defensive.
  16. Turn Friendly Fire off, that not standard with classic
  17. Oh really? Dont think Ive even seen a full day where the US softcore was empty. Was that this week? Maybe we should switch that to classic haha I guess my previous two posts were out of context lol
  18. It doesn't bother me at all, I actually don't want to change the HC server anymore. I responded to the fact that Oddjob was using the US HC Server's inactivity as a reason to not make a 4th server, which I dont believe that has any relation to a classic server. Its all about the context sonava....
  19. That graph just makes me question why we have a second HC server....
  20. nobody will be able to control them anyways so its not like it matters. Ive not seen one person handle a hovercraft well in this game.
  21. Yes because our body cant fight sickness on its own right? Plus you said it yourself that she already had a prescription of antibiotics waiting for her at the pharmacy, you seriously think she wouldn't pick that up just because you gave her some sort of science defying miracle water? Plus some doctors give you an antibiotic to get you started on your prescription, which means she might have already been on antibiotics before you gave her your water.
  22. Its just another scam... "Ionized water" is nothing more than sales fiction; the term is meaningless to chemists. Pure water (that is, water containing no dissolved ions) is too unconductive to undergo signficant electrolysis by "water ionizer" devices. Pure water can never be alkaline or acidic, nor can it be made so by electrolysis. Alkaline water must contain metallic ions of some kind — most commonly, sodium, calcium or magnesium. The idea that one must consume alkaline water to neutralize the effects of acidic foods is ridiculous; we get rid of excess acid by exhaling carbon dioxide. If you do drink alkaline water, its alkalinity is quickly removed by the highly acidic gastric fluid in the stomach. Uptake of water occurs mainly in the intestine, not in the stomach. But when stomach contents enter the intestine, they are neutralized and made alkaline by the pancreatic secretions — so all the water you drink eventually becomes alkaline anyway. The claims about the health benefits of drinking alkaline water are not supported by credible scientific evidence. "Ionized"/alkaline water is falsely claimed to be an anti-oxidant. It is actually an oxidizing agent, as can be seen by its ability to decolorize iodine (see video) There is nothing wrong with drinking slightly acidic waters such as rainwater. "Body pH" is a meaningless concept; different parts of the body (and even of individual cells) can have widely different pH values. The pH of drinking water has zero effect on that of the blood or of the body's cells. If you really want to de-acidify your stomach (at the possible cost of interfering with protein digestion), why spend hundreds of dollars for an electrolysis device when you can take calcium-magnesium pills, Alka-Seltzer or Milk of Magnesia? Electrolysis devices are generally worthless for treating water for health enhancement, removal of common impurities, disinfection, and scale control. Claims that "ionized" waters are antioxidants are untrue; hypochlorites (present in most such waters) are in fact oxidizing agents. Claims that "water ionizers are approved for use in Japanese hospitals" are misleading: these "approvals" merely attest to the machines' safety — that they will not electrocute you! My understanding is that the Japanese Health Ministry is highly critical of therapeutic claims made for alkaline water.
  23. I hope you guys don't believe this sorta stuff. This is just another health fad with no science or studies to support it.
