I don’t get it, you just admitted that now that the eu server removed the minimap, which is what you guys originally wanted, that there is no need for another server. You also just acknowledged that you see and cannot argue with the fact that there is a problem with the distribution of players in the two HC servers. So I guess my question is, given what we just learned are you still against merging the two servers to fix this, and if so why? Is ping the only reason at this point?

I don't think you understand, they are not shutting down a Hardcore server in favor of a soft core server, instead they are merging both of our hardcore servers into one hardcore server. you still get to play the same game type with the same people and the only thing that's really changing are the maps and maybe your ping.

The sign of a healthy and active clan is an active server, when the most popular server can only reach a 40% capacity during the most active hours, then you usually need to start making changes. It’s important to cater to many different play styles but not when those play styles start affecting your most active server. Sadly the most important server is the one that’s been around the longest and already has a reputation as being an active server, this server currently is staying active because of players that have favorited it, but we don’t just want old players to play here, we want to attract new players and new players tend to join servers that are near or at capacity. That’s why we are having this discussion, we need to fill up the two main servers as much as possible so that they can continue to bring in the new players and show that XI is still alive and kicking. This is also why it’s such an important job for admins to join the server even when it’s dead and boring in order to get it started.

will this fix the Rush ticket issue? trying to defend a rush game of 200 tickets with only 4 people in the server is not fun (even though my score loves it).

This is part of the reason I did not join XI and is also the reason I dont play on the US true hardcore server, It seems everytime I join the "true" harcore server for a game someone is complaining about the gameplay of another and accusing them of not being legit. Its not that I personally dont like being called a cheat, in fact I love it but its not how I would want my fellow clan member to act. There is a reason the admins dont kick people that you think cheat. On the topic of the true hardcore server and what to do with it, just think of it as merging the eu and us hardcore servers together, removing the minimap basically makes the eu server the same thing right? Sure the ping might be higher, but thats never stopped me from enjoying a server before. I dont see much of an issue in merging the two servers.

the only reason shes the victim according to you is that fact that shes a woman. Nobody should ever initiate physical force on another person, but in cases of self-defense the genders of the victim and the perpetrator really do not matter one bit. Adult women are just as mature as adult men, and are just as capable of threatening, attacking and injuring others as men are. They should face the exact same consequences for their actions as men do, and the idea that they should get a 'free pass' from being hit when a man in the exact same situation would be, simply because of their gender, is pathetic and sexist. exactly, plus the weapons in hardcore are just so unbalanced since they were designed for the soft core damage model. Also I might just be able to look this up but i'm lazy so ill just ask, how is attacking and defending gonna work? the only way I can see it being a proper attack and defense type game where the defenders should always get a slight advantage is through the rush or defuse (for shorter matches) game modes where the team that owns the territory are the defenders and the team attacking are the attacker. maybe have some neutral territories in there to set up the conquest type games.

I signed up like a year ago... Also I suggest hardcore rule sets with the soft core damage model, I believe the game is balanced the best that way.

with mice its all about feeling, have you actually put these mice in your hands and made sure they feel good according to you grip? also since you don't seem to want to spend more than 40 on a mouse (which is understandable) your limited in your selection. lol I don't think you understand the fingertip grip, a mousepad the size of a coaster would probably fit me better as i don't use about 60% of my mousepad. here is a good video showing the different types of grips.

I think a lot of it has to do with grip as well though, I use the fingertip grip which basically means that only my fingertips touch the mouse and I anchor my wrist. This means that that the movement of the mouse is very limited as there is only so much surface area my fingertips can reach, which means I need an extremely high sensitivity otherwise id be lifting my mouse constantly in order to reset it to the middle of my grip. Because of my grip accucats I could never play with that low of a sensitivity, but I also believe that my grip allows me to be more precise and increases my agility and reaction speed overall. As far as the DPI argument goes, I believe its just another sensitivity slider and that high or low dpi, I'm not missing any "pixels" or skipping around like some seem to think, but I did take oddjob's advice and maxed the dpi to 5600 and in game sensitivity to 14%, it seems the same so I am gonna keep it set as that and see if I notice any difference over time. Ill report back if I notice a significant difference.

100%=12 25%=133 50%-74 200%=7 IM honestly in no rush to max lvl so I purposely dont use them, really theres nothing to work towards once you hit the max lvl. ps. holy shit you are lucky getting that many 100% boosts.

sounds like everyone has a different sensitivity that works for them, I think since my normal accuracy is in the 16-22% range, im not gonna mess with it.

hmm well I guess I can give it a try. my understanding of higher dpi after doing research is that its just gonna make me more twitchy, we will see if it is detrimental to my accuracy or not
