  1. Its all done now @@hxtr thanks anyway , seems like you know a bit about Dos yourself ! Since you know about about settings about memory I may need to contact you in the future if I run into any issues , Ah no I should get by....My next stage is the graphic enchancer mods and resolutions and so on, Something I like to test around with
  2. You cant beat a few Dos games every once in a while! Yeah I have seen that there is many graphic enhancer mods for most Dos games. I seen a few done on youtube and with the graphic enchancers and they do look brilliant. Thats something I might just mess around with next
  3. After a few hours of going through some old forums I eventually found a 6-7 year old forum that went through the whole dos command setup to install the game. Turns out I was missing a line or two of Dos thats why it was saying that there was insuffiecent space. Cheers for the input anyway guys! Theres actually a websites that has a whole archive of all the Dos games that are all free to download. Its worth a look if your interested http://www.dosgames.com/ and http://www.dosgamesarchive.com. The orginal Doom , Wolfenstein and GTA and many more are there free to download.
  4. Basically I am trying to install a star wars game I remember playing as a child. Star Wars dark forces it was called. It game out in 1995 and the PC version ran on Dos . The last time I played it was on PS1. Basically I forgot all about the game until I seen it on one of the humble bundle sales there a few months back. I have played the original Tomb Raiders through dos before with no hassle as there was many patches to install the game so it would just boot up in dos without any commands. The star wars game that I am trying to install/play as to be mounted and installed through the dos commands. I mounted the game ISO onto a virtual drive and eventually mounted the game through the dos commands aswell as you need to, to access the game directory. After 30 mins or so I was able to mount the ISO through DOS commands. Once I was in the virtual drive I typed "dir" and it showed the game directory within the drive. I seen the "install" executable file so I typed "install.exe".....then the installation for the game finally popped up . I click install then standard installation and then it tells me I have insuffiecent space in my hardrive... I then click on custom install and it tells me which game files are required. It says 8mb of hardrive space is required and that I have currenty -1kb space haha I will include photos ....if anyone has experience with Dosbox or has a good knowledge in Dos it would be appreciated!
  5. I actually went ahead and purchased the RamDisk 64gb with the last graphic card I bought. It was the exact same deal offering the same price. I went ahead and purchased it not knowing really much about it but the reviews seemed very good about it. I went ahead and purchased the 64gb and it turns out that you cant use the 64gb unless you have 64gbs of ram in your system.Turns out the RamDisk can be only used in according to have much ram is in your system. I have currently only 8gbs of ram and so I could only use 8gbs of the RamDisk . It also turns out that the free version of RamDisk supports upto 8gbs of ram so I was quite pissed off at the fact of purchasing the 64gb RamDisk haha. I think the whole promotion of the RamDisk is very misleading and you would have many people "including myself haha" that would of went ahead and purchased the 64gb just cause it was on offer . Bascially you can store programs/games and use them in your ram to boot up or run. Its meant to be much quicker than SSD's but then again it all depends on what ram you have
  6. I dont know but I have been drinking heineken for the last few months and I am basically hooked to it, its all I drink now haha . Yeah I wouldnt blame you for not liking miller I dont know how people like that to be honest
  7. I didnt expect the UK's top drink to be Carling, I suppose its a cheap lager but ....that stuff is like drinking sparkling water, it has no taste whatsoever Its also @@GeForce favourite beer...everyone give him hell haha
  8. Wait I agree with you with Grolsch, its fairly nice now but you think heineken is piss but yet you drink bud light??? Budweiser on its own is has barely any taste compared to heineken but yet you drink bud light? I dont know at all haha
  9. I may as well put this in here while I am at it?.................

  16. Welcome back bubbles!
  17. Welcome to the forums punisher
  18. I have used it before , it is very CPU intensive and would need a very good rig to record in 1080p. It only uses 1 core of your processor for recording so its a bit of a struggle to be honest. I have been using dxtory which I would highly reccomend Its a slightly more advanced program than fraps but has plently of more options for video and for capturing sound. It encodes videos into may different types and uses all of your cores in your CPU so it records gameplay easily. I have a copy of both fraps and dxtory if you want to have a mess around with them.
  19. Geforce gone all "gangsta" with himself haha
  20. Welcome to the forums
  21. Never heard of that error before, Its deffintely a firewall problem by the sounds of it. Have you tried doing a repair install on your BF4 in origin? Disable your firewall on BF4 for all the inbound connections and it should work. EA actually recomend you disable your firewall for BF4 strangely enough, I did it to mine nearly a year ago and works perfect. If that doesnt work , try updating your punkbuster again or just reinstall it and if that doesnt work then I would start opening ports on your router in which EA support
  22. Another EU and US scrim would be brilliant , need to get the players for it though, may take awhile
  23. Welcome to XI
