The Cryserv Network and the beta servers that are currently running are really good, and even 190 different players were registered by the system. And the number is increasing daily! I tested it myself, and was not disappointed, enough players, even old players, smooth servers (only with CW typical normal lag ^^) and the Cryserv client is only a decent patch, so the game remains mostly as it is (minor changes that can be set via server settings sometimes (e.g. walljump): Wall jumping definiteley needs some training in order to do it... Speaking for myself: I am sure that this is a very good and stable solution to keep playing crysis wars and a lot of players already know that and keep playing and even coming back after years they have not been playing CW! BTW.: hope I can make it this Thursday to kick ur XI butts in Game (7pm EST is 01:00 in the morning over here ^^ ) Regards, [bS]_dawolf

I don't think CSN (cryser network) will do something like that. Nitro (the head develper behind cryser network; ssm aegisx; rx client extension) always delivered awesome work to the community and never tried something like that, at least as far as I can see/remember.... I hope I'll have time to try the cryserv client this week as it is already available so you can try out and play a few rounds.

Hy guys, hey ALDO, hopefully the Cryserv Network will soon be launched officialy and that some "old" players will play on these cryserv network servers. Would be too bad if crysis wars would die completely. Hope that the players will recognize the cryserv network and that at least a bunch of different servers will be online. Some "normal" ones and some 1vs1/ proto etc. ones ... @XI Hope you get your CW servers up and running again, always liked your server (especially the mixed server, the hardcore not that much (don't like the idea of playing CW without every suit mode that much ) Do you guys keep your MixedServer or will you just keep the hardcore server? Hmm yeah, now I know why I haven't seen you guys because I stoped playing in the evening (7 pm EST would be 01:00 o'clock in the night over here in wonderful Austria ^^ ) I'll try to be there (I have to stdy for some big tests @University so it is likely that I need some distraction from studying @night - [bS]_dawolf

Thought I would leave a Note here in case you Guys missed the newest Infos around the Gamespy Shutdown and it's impact on CW. There will be a patch to still be able to play Crysis Wars after the Gamespy shutdown. You can simply connect to a server through the InGame Serverlist. Further instructions will be posted @evolutionx.eu (german) (evolutionx.eu are already testing the new system and it looks like it works, but you will need their rXc Client Extension to join the servers.) This is the system mentioned by MERLIN007 here: (english) They are building up a website where you can find all necessary information: CryServ.de or CryServ-Network.de (will go online soon) here is the original post evolutionx.eu [in german] Anyway, hope to see some of you InGame and to see some old friends again (don't know if they are still playing).
