I want to let you all know how much your words of love and kindness have touched us both. Lorie doesn't read this shit at all she thinks we ae all a bunch of crazy old men who have nothing better to do most of the time but she has read them all as the tears allowed and again she is amazed how some guys playing a computer game are so close and care so much for each other and are so kind. She kind of knows how great XI is after everything through the years we have gone through. Your prayers have shown her she is so loved by so many more then she knows. My Loving wife is losing someone very special but has found out she is a special caring loved human being. God Bless you all and I know I am truly a rich man in so many ways

Well after spending many of the past days done there by her side she is in the very late stages of Emphezima and COPD and the priest came on tues and gave her last rights. We are trying to be strong but this is hitting us on many levels right now. . Loretta is not in any pain and we just wait for god to decide it is her time but we expect it to be any day now. they say she is too weak to even move to Hospice.

Hello everyone, I am posting this with great sadness in my heart today. My wife Lorie just found out her Mother who was hospitalized a few days ago with breathing problems. She has gotten worse in the past few days and the Drs say she is terminal and they are meeting this morning to discuss the plan for her as we wait for her body to shut down completely. This means my loving wife will lose her beloved mother soon and it is such a sudden shock. Combine the fact that this is the Holiday Season and sales are still way down so while she goes down to be with family I have to go to work to try and pay for the gas we are going to use in the next few weeks since she is about 50 miles away. We need your prayers and understanding in this difficult period. We are still in shock although we knew at some point this day would come we just didn't think it would happen this fast. It really sucks when shit happens in normal life and you are so poor you can barely deal with the day to day bullshit, throw me a curve like this and it really fucks up your life on so many levels. Thanks so much for the prayers for Lorie and her Mom Loretta. I will keep you informed as we get more information today. I sure wish I could be there with her just to provide her a shoulder to lean on if she needs it but got to get to work...

Please remember General that as of now per your request you are no longer a member and as a NON MEMBER it is not very polite to tell a member who has played with us on COD2 BTW to shut the Phuck up. We understand your upset but you are always upset about something with the servers or the game or your tripwires it is always something. I mention this because some people have needed to be removed from everything XI related because of how they handled things when they left. Don't let this happen to you as well, just have fun and hope you find a place with no hacking going on.

Oh I also forgot to mention to you Genvonsyks that you mentioned other members and admins using hacks and to that I say film them and show us or shut up and second PUNKBUSTER has not supported COD2 for about 3 years so it would not find a hack in game for us. We catch plenty of hackers like your above mentioned friend D16 who was banned came back and it was then found out he was a know hacker on other servers as well but heck he is still your friend I hope. We are always here for what is best for the servers and our members first and we do a much better job then punkbuster ever did

Yeah BUDSR you guys stood up for Wardragon and in spite of some initial resistance he is now as you stated a beloved member with no mention of his past, Same goes for players like Dirk Diggler as well. I do not understand the Gens reason for quiting but in fairness his real life brother following him after recently joining should not be a suprise. You guys are always welcome to play on our servers but please remember we kick non-members first to make room for players wishing to play then spectating members. So if you are playing sometime and get kicked it is not personal it is just the way things work for non member guests. always has and always will, also we don't listen to non members about cheaters since they are not as invested in our servers as our members are and are not subject to our internal rules with regards to making untrue claims not based on video evidence and facts. I am not sure what MB it is but it is a quad core and is an asus M4A785-M. My problem was I was using a old asus disc and thought it was the current MB's driver. Once I figured out my error everything went smooth and soon I will attempt to load Windows 7 but right now my XP is running fine with no issues. Looks like my old HD was corrupted or something. No more shut downs and all malware and virus scams run just fine now. thanks everyone

I told him it is was ok but we understand your concerns.I think I figured out my issues with loading the mother board drivers and while I did Dark Asylum said he will send me a copy of windows 7 do use instead of XP pro.

it is not that old a system it is the one the XI guys put together for me just about two years ago. Paperman is sending me a HD already that should do the trick. I will keep everyone advised. Thanks

I have reformated this pc and it was working fine but today it started shutting down and asking for which device to boot to. I restart it and it fires up and then maybe 20 to 30 minutes later it shuts down on it's own. I was told it may be the Hard Drive going out but I can't afford the .00 they want to get a new HD for this PC for a few weeks at the soonest. As such I may not be around as much so everyone keep an eye on the COD2 servers for ole Pman

Ok got sound this morning by simply plugging it in to the correct plug in the back. I used to run my mic thru the front panel for ease of use sp did that as well and as soon as I plugged it in the sound bound recognized it and asked me the confirm the set up so I think I am on the right trak here. No shut downs or loading issues so far so hoping the HD is not any issue and since I only have 1 stick of ram and the PC is still working fine so probably isn't a hardware issue may have been a bug or corrupt file but now to load COD2 which is why I do all this to begin with. ok so far so good. I have no sound but I have a lot of things done already and drivers installed. If someone has time maybe help me figure out if I have my speakers pluged in the wrong slot not USP type so us the small plug??

I deal with Microsoft employees every now and then and I am sure soon one of them will bring me a copy of windows 7 that they can buy for about 50 bucks. Last time I did this the entire info I shipped over to this old pc was done via thumb drive so may not need a external yet but who knows? I will stay in touch and have done this a few times with no back up PC like now so we shall see. I have faith I can muddle thru it slowly

So as far as I can tell right now I am going to reinstall the windows XP this weekend and when I do it will wipe out everything correct like a almost clean harddrive? what should I save other then pictures and documents and config files anything else? Is it safe to assume if I have any issues loading the windows XP disc's I have a Hard Drive issue as stated earlier? so I install OS everything is good I then install Browser and then drivers for my Mother Board off the web and then restart it and then down load that auto retrever for the remaining drivers and I will have them up to date? Then I am sure I will have to update plug ins like Flash player etc?

Yes I have the original disc's and it seems I have some issues other then the OS since I can't run or remove Malwarebytes because of a issue with the dll. Not sure what this means but LOADER said it is not good. Can someone give me a list of the things I need to pull off the old data base and what drivers I will need to update as soon as I reinstall the OS? I need to be reminded of what order I get drivers and when to reboot and such. Done it a few times but not often enough to remember it all. ok I have a stick with some shitty old music I can use correct stcks rewrite everytime you use them. I have no idea where to find a boot program or how to load it to a stick. Is it safe to assume since I am able to access the system in safe mode that it is a OS issue and not a hard drive or hard ware issue? I am running XP pro SP3 so I am assuming I would need to find a PC using the same OS and version??? My cell is 206 229 1451 since I will be at work over the next few days..

I have tried 3 different restore points with no sucess. I have tried to run malware bytes with no sucess as well the last malware run it stopped about half way thru scan and the system tried to boot up and I got this message "REBOOT AND SELECT PROPER DEVICE OR INSERT DISC" i DON'T KNOW HOW TO UNINSTALL A UPDATE OR WHERE TO FIND IT. I got a windows update this morning that required a restart and it worked fine then my wife said it was off when she got on it and now it won't restart when I turn it on. I get the screen that shows the Windows logo and the light bar that just keeps sliding but doesn't load. I am on now in safe mode with networking but really have no clue what to look for next. My phone is on all day 425-820-9477 so if you think you might know whats wrong give me a buzz. thanks in advance

I too set my fair share of tripwires and landmines these days and not only is there protection from placing trips to close to the exact spawn point it also allows you to set them off while still under spawn protection and blow them up without dying. there are a few ways to remove tripwires and at this point I choose not to share them all since the is a new wrinkle as of late for defusing explosives and this newest twist is going to make for some interesting kills lol. There are very few one way exits on the maps we have now but people are creatures of habit if there are 2 ways out most take the same way out every time. This being said if you feel that spawn points are being tripped in a manner that is outside these guidelines please let one of your admin team know who is doing it so they can speak to the offender and have it stop. There are also several maps right now where spawn killing is required to even play so if you can lay a trip before your killed then good for you. Spawn killing of any kind is a fact we have to adapt to unfortunately.

I love all our campers Mac, Ted, Gen, and a few others because they always have time to talk because they are waiting for action.

Great points being made in this thread but let me point out this game stock was set up at a speed that encouraged camping and guns where slower so run and fun was not really possible. The maps are based on stock speed and gravity which ours are not which allows us to play against it's design and take away a campers advantage. Almost every good camping spot has at least 1 back door and there are lots of ways to fuck with them if they bother you just like the revenge spawn. It puts you closer to the player who likked you so their camping spot is easier to attack so please just get used to it because we aren't going to put in that "Move or your player starts farting mod". Let me guess it was Macdaady who said the FU Bitch? I ask becasue he has always camped and I hear him getting shit about it and that is his typical response and since he was a prison guard when he gets pissed and says something he tends to have the last word. I get the felling he thinks when people give him shit it is about him not his style. So maybe if people could let campers know it is not personal just hate the style not the player it may help???
