Well scratch that. I stopped the Punkbuster services (shouldn't be in use anyway) and restarted and it is persistent. I'll leave it up to the admins. Let me know if you need someone to test or provide some logs. It's definitely like @BeerGoat described.

Upon reviewing the console, I suspect Punkbuster is coming into play. Could be wrong. It's timing out to the Evenbalance servers.

Anyone know what the deal is with this? Messages that indicate I guess spawn protection, but over the past two or three days at the start of a round or when I join, I get a quick CI followed by this (attached). When I attempt to sprint, there's no noticeable difference than standard movement. Others say it goes away if they restart the game. I'm having no luck.

If you've rebooted, try swapping out the ethernet cables (if you're wired). If wireless, try going wired and test. You can open a cmd prompt also and ping to a dns server and see if you're dropping packets. Ping 8.8.8.8 -t ...and reach out to your isp if so. Also, shoot the kangaroo gnawing at your house lines...

I saw this complaint in the chat yesterday. Facetious remark to follow: Perhaps in the same vein, there should be an implementation that is equally proportionate to the amount of time another user is in the prone or crouch position...
