My mother's laptop had to be reverted back to 8.1 after she clicked the GWX notification. Windows 10 caused the laptop to say the hard drive was bad after I just put a new hard drive in it less than 6 months ago. I need to find a way to remove the damned GWX icon in the taskbar and also remove the Exe so it will stop asking me to upgrade. Highly annoying when it pops up when in the middle of something. Definitely staying Win7!

Well, thanks all, I retried my other option of using a USB recovery from my laptop. Seems like the recovery i tried before was corrupted but after making a new USB bootable and 3 hours of the PC resetting itself, the Computer is alive and well. damn I hate DELLs. Thanks all.

Hello, I am currently trying to rebuild my mother's PC and of course Mircosoft has to be dumbasses and stop sending hard copies of the operating system. Her hard drive basically bit the dust and I couldent retrieve the OS Recovery and put onto a USB or other media. I've found one ISO before when my laptop's hard drive seized up on me but cant find it again. Can anyone assist in sending me a free download link of windows 8? other links ive tried either dont work, or redirect you to Microsoft website to DL their Eval copy. Thanks, Elf

There is Raid Call. its like TS with voice chat and type-chat. doesnt allow you to message in-game but great sound quality. I just installed Evolve add DemonElf_XI. Or spacedemon1 on steam and Razer comms

Thanks guys. Seeing this really cheers up a bday. Havent got much birthday wishes via phone or facebook, some but not many. Not even one from my own father in Florida. Least i got to have a tasty night at Carrabba's thanks to my mother. Plus after busting my ass with yardwork all day Other than that just a boring ol' day.

also says file sum errors, PVT Death was having issues rebooting it. theres a map in the server causing this.

The XI DeathRun server needs some TLC. Some arent downloading, downloads the map and game crashes, and then the server gets stuck and requires an admin to reboot. Can we fix this please??? @@Ruggerxi @@dadda2

Ug. Well getting kicked out of the house by my own mother all due to being accused of smoking. I quit this past year in April since i was getting ill effects from cigarettes. I was doing trash around the house for garbage day amd found 2 half lit cigarettes. I picked them up and forgot to put them out. Which inturn left a smokey smell in the garage, i had to flush them in the toilet since if they were found my mother would say i smoked them. So bow dealing with trying to move out, I'd like to get a car trailer hitch for my 98' Aurora and rent a small covered uhaul. But that wouldn't fit my funds. It be $400 for uhaul to attach it, $300 gas cost to drive to Florida. Still need a price of renting a trailer, finding a job, place to live and such. And as of now i started back up smoking, ended with cravings worrying about 6 finals for college tomorrow and tuesday. Also thinking of where im goint to go. Sigh. F..m....l. Yes there are some that are more worse than my current situation but this is hard to deal with after all the work ive done around the house to help my mother out instead of finding another job to gain some funds.

Oh the funs of using a PhotoSmart hp c8180 printer to scan 4 slides at a time for 10+ years of photos. Kinda depressing since most have my grandfater that passed away last year. On to of that, wished i have better luck in finding a part time job since unemployment ran out. Be nice to be able to afford a new graphics card better than my current nvidea 430gt (galaxy) 1gb card. Also get a better mic than the one some say sounds like a washibg machine near me. Be a nice xmas gift but cant ask anyone for it as a hint. Already got a major early present from my mother of a brand new laptop to replace the one that some of you know that died on me. Wished life didnt have a nasty face to it at times. Yes there is some that are worse than my situation but being young and not able to find a job quickly, not mcdonalds or any fastfood , is getting annoying. -spew over with-
