  1. well... WiZiD already has some keys in Origin given to him by user support. I guess we shall see soon enough if they work after gamespy is shut down.... I hope they do edit: I was reading the thread you linked.. looks like some code monkeys are making their own login server. SWEET! lol
  2. hahahaa he was about to pass out drunk too.
  3. That's a messed up story.... but google-image "abortion" ... it's way worse and yet somehow generally accepted and said to be ok. (... no clue why)
  4. @@WiZiD is actually working on this. Apparently you can call EA support and they will give you an Origin key for the game and you can keep playing. He is still working out the details and is preparing a detailed forum post. At least that's what he told me...
  5. A most convincing cover story... lol
  6. Every time I hear a mech'ie start talking about their vibrations class I sing this song to them
  7. Also i would re-seat all the connections and plugs on the hdd's
  8. I guess i'm not affected.
  9. lol, even exchanges a few pleasantries with wildthing at the end. lol
  10. That's what the comment section is for
  11. lol? Or I could just write down all my passwords in a txt document and triple encryt it with AES-TwoFish-Whirlwind. Then, I only need to remember one long password. My favorite is to use a GPS cordinate of some memorable location. I've never understood "password managers". If they are compromised you are hosed. Why would I trust some company with the keys to all my data anyway?
  12. ...but its open source.... Most of the world uses openssl. A public announcement is the only way they can tell everybody that they need to use the new version. There is no way they would be able to message every admin in the world. Would you rather them only tell the big corporations for the sake of keeping the public calm? This security hole affects everbody and quick action needs taken by everbody... Including the users.
  13. Another XKCD on heart bleed!
  14. http://www.xtremeidiots.com/topic/44880-heartbleed/
  15. Can't say i agree with you on that. The foundation fixed the bug and provided the new version before anouncing the finding. Anouncing it was a necessary public call to have everybody change to the new version all at once so nobody is left behind and made vulnerable.
  16. All i heard was, " not to worry apple's shit is outdated..". Lol
  17. that sucks! Country living is the best.... with internet
  18. "it clears your throat too" lol niiiiiiice
  19. Right. I think its just one.
  20. I just saw this on my favorite comic strip. www.xkcd.com
  21. Also... What?! We train our soldiers right next to a school in norway? Lol
  22. Yep, nobody really knows how far this goes... Just that its massively extensive. Any site running that version of openssl can be so snooped.
