I didn't really want to put this into @Daddyo's hiking thread because we really didn't hike at all, but we just got back from Broadway Tower where we went for a little wander and to take in some fresh air since the weather was nice, didn't take long for the dark clouds to creep in though! ? It's one of my favourite places, it's so beautiful up there, the air is so clear and you just come back feeling so relaxed. Also Chris bought some local ciders because of course he did ?

Happy birthday guys! ?
-
@SgT.Chris was actually considering setting one up personally, I'll see if he's still interested.

No I still love the UAV cause it's the only time I can actually be somewhat useful ? -
Ahhhh right, yeah I remember you telling me about it. Interesting, is it worth getting? what's it like?

Ahhh thank you for clearing that up, I though it was a bug or something ? And on that bombshell I guess I better give a big !fu to @MikZzona, you're one of the guys I accidentally defrosted with this, I'm very disappointed in you. -

I don't know if it's been reported but the UAV Defrost seems to be defrosting people of the opposite team? I noticed this yesterday when I used mine and it defrosted someone who had shot me a few minutes beforehand. Anyone else notice this? -
Nice! Now you can see your own dick! Just need some tweezers now ?

Happy birthday guys! ?

Happy birthday! ?

It was nice to see these on Thursday and I still find it lovely now ? still funny how you were halfway through by the time I'd even got out of bed haha ?
-
Best part is the fact that I didn't even need to leave town to get those shots, I really do live in a spectacular area of the country it seems! Definitely going to have more adventures, I'm surrounded by little country villages that are just lovely to be in. The long term goal is the hill I can see from my bedroom window. It's called Bredon hill and it has lots of trails to walk on. Oooh Broadway Tower is also a good spot, some incredible views up there! If you or @MikZzona ever find yourselves in my neck of the woods, I'd be thrilled to show you both round.

Oh? well then sorry for thinking you might not have been joking haha. ? I can always find something to apologise for.
-
Well first of all if you're not joking here then I will apologise profusely because it's never my intention to make you feel that way! If you are joking then I will probably also apologise profusely because that's what I always do anyway

Happy birthday guys! ?
-
Feel like I should clarify that this is a playful joke and NOT sexual harrassment ?
-
Fuck. I don't have any ideas ? if Rob doesn't want the car or a kiss on the cheek I'll take it. I can't drive so that kinda narrows it down
-
Happy birthday! ?

You can fish there, think you need a license. There's fishing platform thingys all along both sides of the river. We even have an annual fishing festival where people come from all over the country to fish. Presumably that's probably why we have the fish refuge.
-
Of course some of the photos are in the wrong place ffs. God damn these computers.

It's not really a hike and it's not really a big exploratory walk but I did get out today with mum and dad. We're currently keeping it short and level given that I'm a hecking CHONKER and really, incredibly unfit, and also mum is in a wheelchair and gets tired easy because of her health issues. But we're taking baby steps and the long term plan will be the long ass hikes you guys take. In the meantime, we took a walk along the river by the park where we live, I had no idea I had this much beauty right on my doorstep. I feel better already too! Fortunately I didn't come across Rob in his trenchcoat so there's another plus We came across a fish refuge along the way. They put baby fish here and look after them until they're strong enough to survive in the river on their own. Kinda cute little conservation effort I thought. And of course I took selfies, here's a before and after haha ?
