Ya. You guys are right. Those plugs must have come from Canadian Tire here in Canada. They are still some sort of shot though.
@Timmah! I also owned a 68 Fairlane with a 289 engine. (4 door.) It broke in half one day when I was driving it down the 401 in Toronto. I stomped on the breaks and the frame broke behind the engine and the whole front end dove down. lol. Fun car though. I've been through my share of old cars and resbuilds. 69 Dodge Dart, 72 Chev Nova, a 67 and a 68 Mustang ... I think that is it for oldies. Then a bunch of mid 80's cars which all sucked to repair. I quit doing my own rebuilds and repairs when I got my 1st Honda ... opened the hood, didn't recognize a thing ... closed the hood and called my repair days over. lol.
But yes, we are back to figuring shit out. I figure I know more about the fuel supply system in this truck than the average mechanic. Oh and this fuel system is stupid and unnecessarily complicated. Thanks Ford.
