What monitor do you have? Run your graphics according to your monitor max resolution and max HZ I also run all textures on Extra or as high as they go 3070ti with a 4k 160hz monitor (144hz is max in COD)

Sorry to hear this mate. My wife is near the end of her treatments now and all I can say is stay strong and be there for her when she needs it. The treatments aren't pleasant and the overall experience is very unpleasant, which in turn affects emotions and mental well being. If you need any advice or just someone to talk to then give me a shout. In the meantime my thoughts and positive vibes are with you

Do you have anyone local to you that knows about computers? Or Can you post your error here? Hopefully the XI computer gurus might be able to guide you further

Thanks for the advice, very much a case of RTFM I've now set it to PC mode and now have 160hz option on the desktop Thanks again

HDMI lead supplied with monitor into slot 1 of both 3070ti and monitor There is an extra lead supplied with the monitor but my 3070ti doesn't have a port for it
-
update, I did the UFO test which came back at 60 hz, so went into Geforce control panel and the max Hz available was 120hz , I am assumong this is for desktop only and the game can demand the extra HZ
-
144hz yesterday looked to have poor contrast and colour in comparison to 120hz. I have revisited this today and both settings are identical visually. I can only assume that now I've set the monitor up, it is happy running 144hz. I could also be my 3070ti trying to keep up with the sudden changes. Either way it's perfect.now at 144hz

Steam updates to 1.8 which is too high for our servers. We support 1.7 and Cod4x
-
It's arrived and it's a beauty. It runs Cod4 4k 120hz no problem. 144hz didn't look as good so I backed it down a bit The monitor itself is 160hz

Hopefully in the next few hours

Thanks for sharing We should try and have a south west UK meet up at some point
