is Cod4 the only game you play on the laptop? It could be your onboard graphics overheating (might be fluffed up inside) but if it runs other games then the problem would be unique to Cod4 You could run (in comand promt) DXdiag and that might point to a grarhics issue if it is driver or DX based

It does detract from trying to kill the other team. It mainly only appears to be possible in overtime. Maybe up the defrost time to 1 minute as I do understand the practicality of it as well. As half the bots get stuck somewhere
