With Cod4 from steam I found the easiest way was to install Cod4x Copied from a Steam forum HOW TO GET COD4X/MULTIPLAYER WORKING 2022 - NO MANUAL DOWNLOADS/PATCHING REQUIRED Edit : Don't click the links in the comments, this is for windows only, you do not need to manually download any files 1) Install CoD4 from steam 2) Launch multiplayer 3) Enable console in settings 4) Open console with Tilde (`) key 5) Manually connect to any C4S server by typing one of the following commands into the console /connect 178.33.157.21:28958 or /connect 178.33.157.21:28953 6) The required files will download and you will be prompted to downgrade your version, click yes to any box that appears 7) Relaunch cod4 multiplayer, you will now see Cod4x 20.1 or higher in the bottom right after clicking join game ensure source at the top is set to "Internet COD4X" 9) Done, multiplayer is back!

I've just pulled the trigger on this monitor whilst it's on special offer. https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-MAG-323UPF-Freesync-Adjustable/dp/B09Y54ZPW7?th=1&psc=1 Hopefully it's as good as the spec looks to be

My graphics card is a 3070TI that ran the 4K TV fine. The problem I had was with response /frequency which might put more load on the card but hopefully it can take it

Hi all, For the last 5 years I've been using my PC through a 4K samsung smart TV with excellent graphics. Previously was a 1080 LG TV A conversation came up at the XI Derby meet about refresh rates and how they make a great difference, So I swapped out my 43 inch TV for a 21 inch monitor I had kicking around (1080 1ms) This monitor is much better in game and can see the enemy before they shoot me now, The only problem is that I need reading glasses to be able to play on a monitor this small lol So I'm looking for a 32 to 40 inch monitor, 4k with a fast refresh rate and that is where the minefield opens. Curved or flat screen? I've always used flat screen and don't want to waste money on a fad that I will hate in time, So is it worth it? Contrast ratios and dynamic colours, obviously I want the best I can get at a sensible price. So over to you guys and gals what do you recommend and what should I look for or avoid? Thanks for reading

Tartrazine is known as E102 over here and causes all kinds of issues. It used to be used a lot in childrens drinks but was known to cause hyperactivity and mental stress, making it difficult for children to study. I'm not sure the alternatives are any better but as natural as can possibly be would be the best colouring . Or none at all Copied/pasted from here https://www.exploreenumbers.co.uk/Dangers-and-Side-Effects-of-E-Numbers.html E102 - tartazine This is also a yellow food colouring and may cause allergic reactions in some people, including asthma attacks. It’s found in a range of products, such as soups, custard powder, mustard, marmalade, jelly, marzipan, ice lollies, fizzy drinks and squash. Again, it’s recently been found to increase hyperactivity in children. The government now recommend that, if a child has signs of hyperactivity or ADHD, it’s worth avoiding this additive. It is already banned from use in Austria and Norway.

Welcome to the forums Mane. I've enjoyed playing alongside and against you on the servers. For those wondering how to pronounce it properly, it's Man-E I'm as guilty as the next person for mis-pronouncing it though We say all sorts in the heat of battle

Quite a few people that originally commited didn't turn up. The only person that came and isn't pictured is Cliffs_Edge
