Fox tells its viewers what they want to hear. No they are not unique in this in cable news. But dont kid yourselves they have a clear agenda. There is a difference between inviting people that are not politically correct... there are well known people on the left that fit this category as well... and people that are simply useful idiots. Check out interviews of people that do not fit their agenda. They are beaten down. What exactly is the point of unabashedly insulting guests on the air? Interviews with people that do fit their agenda are treated with great deference and spun answers to questions are ignored. I still remember the Sarah Palin question about naming a newspaper.... just one... that she reads. She couldnt. Even to just pick one out of the air like the Washington Post or something. Normally, so what? But she wanted to be VP. What did Fox do? They blamed the interviewer for asking the question. They still are upset at the presidential debate where Romney was wrong about something and he was called on it by the moderator. They didnt say she was wrong. They say she shouldnt have even said he was wrong. Almost sounds like censorship to me.

I dont want it too fast. The marker fx is stock so it doesnt need to be in the mod. The green smoke is custom. Rocket fx is the same as the jet afterburner and also stock. Simpler code since there is no heli or ac130. Several more allowed simultaneous drops since there are no vehicle limitations. I dont have the drop package from ghost but this is good enough and the regular care package is a complicated rig because it has all the team logos and also doubles for the decoy. I really dont want to mess with all that. This isnt strictly in the same realm as 'modern warfare' but the fun factor is more important than real weapons. Comments?

What do you expect? Fox also has some inferiority complex issues. Currently Dish network is going through the usual contract battles with their parent company over money. Next time it will be Fox vs Comcast or one of the others. This is America after all and we are seeing capitalism. They should be promoting this issue as a positive to show how the free market works. But their take on it in their commercials? Dish is 'censoring' them.

Standard game max ranking is 55. I dont really know how it does it for 56+. It is most certainly mod related but I have no idea where it is nor have I messed with it. edit: Did some searching and ranks 56+ have to be enabled by the specific mod. Also, the max rank has to be set in addition to the points required to get it. Could be 62 could be higher. I dont know what the max is. Ranking in game is determined by your XP when it loads. Just to add, the max rank in this mod is 64. It is probably possible to do higher but as I said I have never messed with it.

The rank you are given is checked each time you join depending on how many XP you have in your stat file. In other words, it doesnt save 'rank 65'. It just retrieves your XP and assigns the correct rank accordingly when you join. Also during the game as you gain XP. So you might also want to keep track of that over time. Is your XP changing in between games or going down while playing one? I seem to remember long long ago there was some issue about player XP being messed up but I forget what it was.

If the mod has a different name then it is considered a different progression for rank. Just the way it is.

Sounds like tournaments, when there is a set time for everyone to join, work well. Should do the same for other gametypes occasionally. Say once a month. CTF tournament?

The question was, if I replaced the littlebird with an apache that has the under mounted turret would people mind. Because its a cod4 model its significantly lighter in terms of things like polycount and if I can find an asset slot for it there might be room to add the mi28 for the axis side. So for overwatch each side would have its own heli. I have to check it all out and dont know yet.

Yes all guns, from pistols to snipers, fire in a straight line to the same distance. Its things like sway, gunkick and fov that alter how accurate the actual shot is. Which is why there are terms like 'pistol sniping'. The weapon he is using is balanced to be in between an m4 and ak. As for ftag, I did make it ftag for a little while because of some that said they wouldnt play tdm. Well, didnt help and fewer people actually played it.

Ok a different question. I was looking into a way to script the two turrets for a littlebird. I could make up something where it would work but the turrets themselves wouldnt turn. So it would fire at say a 60 left and 45 down angle but the turrets would still face forward. The noacr mod, I think, already does this. I havent looked at it in awhile and maybe someone can tell me. Another option is using the Apache heli. The stock game already has one and it would just need to be rerigged for mp. It has the usual single turret. Would all of you prefer this heli instead? The actual file size of the model, I think, is less and it would allow one or two other options that might work. I have to see. The streak itself would still be the same and follow the player. Please give me your thoughts.

nm... looks like its basically a regular turret. Unfortunately cant do two of those in cod4 so I will have to do it somehow without moving turrets.

If anyone knows, how far down can the miniguns on the littlebird pivot? The only videos I can find on it seem to show 45 degrees down max. Helicopters by design cannot fire their turrets straight down because turret targeting cannot see anything beneath them. The lb miniguns also cannot rotate around as much as a normal turret. I think. I have heard it described as a heli with two sentryguns. Which in turn can only turn around 45 degrees to either side of forward.

Several of the big explosion sounds were taken from other cod games. So blame them.

I'm sure if it had the full 32 players it would be an interesting server. You might also see a lot more of those tactical nukes people like. They dont end the game.

I think that was tried and the ftag people would end up leaving for one of the other ftag servers. A lot of people just refuse to play anything else. Including any of the other stock or custom games.

It is my understanding, when its all done, that the intention is to have two servers with this mod. One ftag and one tdm. But that is not my decision certainly and subject to change.

Ok the icon thing is a bug. On map changes the icons need to be cleared. Something I forgot. The guns are not less powerful. If it takes a clip and a half, meaning 500+ points of damage, then your aim sucks. The part with the defrosters was a choice between force removing a streak selection from a player loadout or letting the player do it. I chose to let the player do it but print a message that he needs to change it. Assuming for some strange reason he wants a defroster in tdm even tho he wont be given one. Might change that so its removed. Assuming the map was restarted since yesterday the speed should be the same as the noacr mod. It may not have been. When I upload fixes I will do so.

Your own EMP nade will affect you. Friendly nades, I have to check. Correct hardwire doesnt keep cars from detonating if the timer runs out. If that is what you mean Dont use key 6. Use 7-8-9-0

Yes the smaw is balanced that way. Very accurate but less damage radius than an rpg. How does the ak acog sight look strange? Not sure what you mean. Its the same model as before. Do you recall what the exact error was?
