I have an old Dell all in one 2020 and decided to try Batocera Linux on it. Fist I just put on a USB sick to test. It worked so well out of the box with zero configuring that I installed it permanently and now use the PC daily when before it was collecting dust. I started using the Scraper feature to get images and manuals for my collection and I learned a trick. Since I tether to my phone I grab a new IP every time I go in Airplane Mode. Setting the Scrape From to THEGAMESDB ever time I hit my quota.. grabbing a new IP allows another set amount to download. 16,000 ROMs takes a while. Out of the box everything worked... quite impressed with this little super fast OS. Plays retro games wonderfully. N64, PS1 works just fine on my old PC. Absolutely you cannot. It will allow for like 10 to 15 pictures or a small video at a time then the connection fails on three devices and multiple cables over several years. I learned how to trick it on some media but if you try to many it fails. In file manager if you launch a video in VLC it will for the first video launch and play, then I can grab the temp file it created. It's really this insane. Apple wants all your data in their cloud so they can own it. They are fucking evil like that. I have had a phone break itself because I refused to do updates.
