If I could do Hydroelectric I'd be on that in a flash. Having constant running water blows away Solar hands down. For I we get 275 days of Sunshine or so a year so Solar is doable. I have only seen it super cloudy here the entire day maybe 15 times in 4 years. But I do get bad solar days and I then have to turn stuff off. Keeping my Refrigerator going has not once been a problem and I always have one laptop running for entertainment and communications. Gosh I could not even imagine living in a place with 275 days of no Sun. You'd have to put me on suicide watch if I lived there.
