They say you are what you eat. I'm not even even sure them 3 like me. Cats have always like me. Even today I find strays eyeing me at the store. I have some of the best conversations with myself. Project update.... cleared an area, fixed the drainage so I retain water for plants, protected plants, started working on my mounds, and began filling in my parking spot hole I dug week or so ago. First an Sat view of the area to help make the pictures make sense. Yesterday was working in side that blue circle in the red circle spot. B: I'm clearing the area to get a better view of B's location where my cat lives. It drops 10' at B and there is a mound where the Red Dash is I put when clearing the area for my cabin. I made it into a hang out...... but I don't use it anymore. A: A is where the I think Bobcat lives anther 15' down from the mound area. I think I have two cats now where before I thought I only had one. I'll get into that later in a Cat Shit post or Cat Scat ID. All I know the new shit I found is huge so and one shit is much smaller. So is it the same cat is my question. Doesn't matter I just want to see them and observe. They're no threat to I or I'd be dead already. C-D is a 25' drop. Yes I measured. Next two pictures are the same one with markings. This is after I cleared yesterday. The blue circle is my area I'm working. The read circle is that mound. The arrow points to tree tops that is in front of the cats cave. I have a camera I will start running to see if I get anything. Same view just to the right a little. My efforts are paying off. This tree will get lots more water and so will the others along this path I am looking. It will be a line of trees. These things grow fast. I have one that few 3 foot last year. Now no water goes pas this line..... eliminated erosion while watering the desert. This is the part I started yesterday. It rained after so when the Sun comes up I will go check my work. I am looking for pooling water spots to show I am retaining water. After I get that done I will make it look pretty. Function first pretty later. That location I just showed in last two pictures. Zoomed in view of Bobcat Mound. It's a freaking great view on top of that mound. I have rock on top to so you can sit. Just not going to sit there and piss off the cat. Only when I want to see something do I go on top... like watching the Wash run. But I walk by there all the time at least once a day. I just don't stick around. He gets pissed and leaves Scat to warn me it's his or her territory. Other areas Dear guts were left in the Wash where I know this cat or the other cat hangs out. It left it for me after doing a days work clearing a path to the Mountain. I just ignored it but I do respect that is their area. This is the tree that grew 3 foot last year. It use to be a huge tree and it will be huge again. Mistletoe and wormed ate the branches up so I started over. Hard as hell to kill one of these things but Mistletoe will do it in 4 to 6 years. This year it has already grown over a foot. I watered the bark of the tree since spring keeping it nice and happy. Quail love to hang out by it. Roots of mesquite trees can reach 200 foot down. If you have a slab and a Mesquite creates shade for your home.. your foundation will have major problems. These britches stop at nothing to get water. This is the local water hole for birds an critters. If the water runs out the birds always let me know but I change it once a day sometimes twice if the bees are really thirsty.
