Per the recent posts about Windows 8, it seems everyones complaint is the same. The METRO UI sucks. Ya it does! So get rid of it all and go back to a regular start menu with CLASSICSHELL I promise you this will change your life when it comes to Windows 8. I did not know this program existed when I first used Win 8 and Server 2012. I hated it with a passion, so much so I swtiched back to Win 7. Then I found that lil puppy and it changed everything. I will no never go back to anything before Windows 8 and the Metro screen is a thing of the past. If you have Windows 8/8.1 do yourself a favor and install classic shell. You will see what I mean.

Or like I said, use classic shell and then you dont have to deal with something as simple as a start menu preventing you from enjoying all the performance and error handling that 8.1 has. Goodbye 7.

I personally will never go back after going to 8.1 Just make sure to install classicshell, less Metro get the best of you.

RPM matches real life. Effective max distance matches real life. Bullet drop matches real life is using 640m/s muzzle velocity. However you are correct on this part, the muzzle velocity is usually 950m/s. Im assuming they lower this in game so people arent killing each other 4 flags apart. And yea, the SA80 doesnt have burst mode as you stated. Oh well. At least their numbers are 100% completely made up.

They did actually go out and get the weapon specs.. Originally in BF3. EA had paid contracts with the major arms manufacturers. However, they no longer wanted to pay for licensing, so that is why the name of most guns were removed from the gun model itself. In addition, if you look at many of the symthic underlying stats, many of them are very close to their real life counterpart. Especially when it comes to RoF, Bullet Velocity, Muzzle Velocity, Bullet drop and sometimes deviation. Sure, they have to make changes that differ from rl, but this is a game after all.

Im not there, so I dont want to hear about how nice your vacation is!!! We are vacationing at Hainan Resort. Basking in the Sun, near the hotel pool. Although its missing alot of water. The trip advisor ratings were high for this place, but now we arent sure.. We went to go to the beach yesterday, but some idiot in a cargo ship ran aground and there are now containers everywhere with oil and gas spills. We wanted to try sailing today, but the sailoats were riddled with bullets and some bastard on a attack boat fired at us, so we assumed we shouldnt use those boats. Since the hotel ended up falling down, the hotel employees were nice enough to put us in some private units just North of the hotel. There must be some kind of event going on because people keep congregating around a flag pole and lighting off fireworks.

ya should be better now. We tested last night and games were lasting closer to 15 mins. cats, I will bump up more tickets on Rush if need be. Wanted to first test a 2x increase.

I added some more custom settings to the maps and modes based on our last few days playing. Rush - Changed TicketCount from 100% to 200% - This should give us longer than 4-7 minute rounds now. 125-200 Tickets vs. 75-100 for starting. Added Chain Link - Change TimeLimit from 100% to 200% - This should make the rounds last 20 mins max, instead of 10 mins. - Changed TicketBleedRate from 100% to 35% - Now instead of 10-15 tickets bleeding per second, its closer to 2-4 tickets per second. This resulted in a well balanced game of Chain Link that actually gave each team a chance to win and play longer than 3-10 mins.
