Played for an hour last night. Definitely wont be buying. To me it just feels like I am playing Obliteration over and over and over and over. Wasnt any team work. Most the gadgets were boring. I will admit they've got the vehicle physics down, and I could see them making a GTA open world type game with the Frostbite engine. But ya. Hardline was fun for about 30-40 mins, until I realize I can just go play OB and its the exact same thing. This should be a DLC for BF4, not a stand alone. fuck you ea. Not to mention I already have a bad taste for it do to this... Its killing our BF4 server. Last night there were only 15k PC players on BF4 Usually it is 25k-60k. Time to go back to the pains of populating.

I have added back in Lost Islands and Operation Mortar to the map rotation. They were removed in the past due to extreme lag on those maps. Please let me know if you have issues with these two maps today, so that I can remove them immediately.

Half Life and Unreal dont use projectiles, so its not a fair comparison. Ping is an extremely important measure as this delay is added to the UDP packets on the upstream. Albeit the server will compensate via interpolating. I think this will be a very good update for us. However, as you say, lets see what else is broke due to the patch

"Minimum skill change" changed from 1pt to 25pt. This means that the minimum amount of pts changed during a kill is 25, instead of 1. This should allow for players on the lower end to score up more.

I have been to these kinds of things before. The "go and meet all the people you raid with in WoW meetup." I was sceptical at first, since some of these that I have been to were so freaking weird that I've left after 5 mins. I can say now that I am very happy I went. Everyone of these guys are really good guys. Interesting, entertaining, friendly, IDIOTIC. We met at Mystic Lake casino, which made for an interesting time. Here is what I have to say about the evening and everyone I met. I work with FreeFry and Fir3Marshal, so first off thank you @@Fir3Marshal for setting this up, and getting everyone organized and committed, it wouldn't have happened without you. I know who @@Freefry Freeburg is as a person from working with him, but what I didn't know is that he has more luck than anyone I've met as he walked out of the casino with an additional $120, after only spending, what? $40 bucks? You suck. I expect some free fries at work today. Who sucks even more is @@Ruggerxi - Who somehow rigged the entire event so that not only he, but his wife as well, both would win $100 during the "$100 every 15 minute give away" that the casino was running. I mean what are the chances of randomly picking this day, coming to meet everyone, winning $100 and then 2 hours later his wife winning $100? In all seriousness, he's a really down to earth guy, always smiling and has some great stories to tell. Yes, 'The Godfather' cares about his family. @@reddog955i is the type of person I could see myself riding shotgun with in an old school hot rod after we just rebuild the engine. Again a great guy. We'd probably be driving that hot rod to go meet @@Sweatnbullets for some fishing, boating or anything out doors. From the photos he showed us, along with the size of a bass he caught, he's apparently very good at hooking the fish. @@YellowSnow Didnt get to talk to him much, but again awesome to see someone come such a long way to meet everyone. Im sure we'll have another quick laugh once Wildthing posts the group photo where reddogs giving him the bunny ears. @ seems like hes on track. I give him lots of credit for being the youngest there. 18-19? Hanging out with a bunch of 30 and 40 years olds. Has a full time job, seems like he'll do alright. Although I did find out that he gets lost really easily. Twice. @@wildthing What a riot. I could definitely see myself have many more drinks with this guy. Not in a bad way. But in a "it would be really fun to shoot some whiskey and see what kind of trouble we could get in to" He also taught me that they make a double wallet. One side full of money and cards. One side with no money or cards. Care to guess which side is his? All in all it was a really fun time. We had no idea so many people lived in Minnesota. I heard some pretty interesting stories from everyone and some pretty ridiculous stories about clan drama in the past. The best part of it all is being able to put a face to the name/voice and realizing these are all real people just like myself, living their lives. Sometimes you forget that in this digital age we live in. So thanks again everyone for opportunity to meet some great new comrades. ~Oddjob

The first thing I want to state, is that this game will take some time to get off the ground. The game I am emulating it against took about a year for it to get going. It is likely that the first few months of game play will only be 5v5-7v7. We can still play it with this few of people. It will take time for it to get going. However if we stick to it, people will start asking questions or start noticing we are on the server doing something different and become interested. For those of you that have signed up, I know we discussed doing a global-conflict signup for a one time try, so you get the idea of the in-game part. I am moving next weekend, so I wont be able to set anything up regarding this or global conflict until the following week. So right now its looking like the weekend of the 7th-8th or the 14th-15th to do a global-conflict trial. And one of the two weekends after that to get this game going. I am in desperate need of people who want to play Commander right now. They will make or break the game. I would be willing on playing one of them. Remember, you are not required to play every event, nor are you required to stay the entire event time. Once I know my schedule a bit better, and we get a few more responses for what weekends people are available, I will update everyone.

and as far as landing are they talking about parachuting or helicopter? Wonder if it would be so hard for some dev to put "in the same round" on the assignment lol.

Is this broke for anyone else? 1. I have gotten a 10+ kill streak probably 7-10 times since this assignment has been out. 2. I have landed on top of the tower on firestorm, but never on Caspian Border. Do I have to land first, and then it will start caring about my kill streak? By land does it mean parachuting or with a helo? I think Ive done both. Does the kill streak have to be on a certain map or DLC? Seems no matter what I do, it wont complete.

I fixed both Captain and Oneills to be reversed. otto, yours is currently setup for when you get knifed. do you mean for it to be setup when you knife someone?
