Hi Rick, it was on AceMod, like the sound of your idea, most of us who have a reason to become inactive (phone, someone at the door, sex :-} ) let others know, for those who simply log in and take up space this would be a good incentive!

Does anyone elase get really pissed at people who log into a map and don't play? Have just spent 20 minutes in a map with 4 other players (no XIs other than me) and nobody spoke, fired a shot or did anything, what is the point of this? I asked several times why no one was doing anything and tried to get a response, naddah!! In the end I ran around firing in the open to try and draw fire, nothing! Opions guys?

Hi all, just to update you, we are still waiting for that illusive liver, Karen is in good spirits tho going a bit stir crazy at being is hospital so long. It was our wedding anniversary July 19 and I was allowed to take her out in the Vette for a couple of hours around the Cambridge area, then we had Chinese for eveing dinner, nice day! Will keep you posted on any news. Oh and stop killing me in AceMod... :-}

Hi all, I know some of you know about my situation, my wife Karen is in Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge awaiting a liver transplant, we have been there for over 3 months now. The positive side is that she is now well enough to have the operation and is on the 'active list' just waiting for a suitable matched organ (as our consultant said in that typical black humor, 'just waiting for a train crash, plenty of donors then!'). Thanks to all who ask how things are going, and apologies for not keeping up to date, but I reckon you can understand this! As those who play often will notice I do go on line when I come home for the odd weekend to pay bills etc, then frag as much as poss, with my limited skills!! Thanks to Stretch (Alex) and Rockape (Mat) for keeping me live on the XI forum. See you on line and will endeavour to keep you guys posted. Regards Mick (vette)

annoying thing is, I love the game, but accessing thru steam and playing with others who, unlike our clan, NEVER speak is a pain in the ass!! Wish we could get it on our servers, bloody Activision, what are they thi?nking??

I have been play MW2 for a while, but thru Steam, and oddly the only name I can get is my email name! michael.howes1959, so don't know how peeps got their XI names on. Maybe it's only possible on these pay for use servers. Pity there are all these issues and we can't get it on a dedicated XI server as I love the game, even if no one, and I mean no one, seems to speak, weird!

damn, I love the game and have been playing on line thru Steam, but this is frickin' stupid and bloody annoying!!

Pt_Bama, thanks for that, must try and get there again, didn't find the sniper rifles when I was there, and also the 'escape' route, ended up blowing myself up to get back in the map. Mainly because didn't want to be accused of glitching

Just installed Crysis Wars, downloaded patch 5 and installed, but still cannot access games. I go thru HLSW, each time get the msg, Unknown Game type, any ideas how to sort this?
