  4. Start you computer up with the monitor attached only and when fully booted and logged in then plug in the HDMI connection to TV. You should see some activity like monitor go black briefly. Now you can go to the display settings and get a better idea of whats happening. Also, Samsung probably has video input specs for your model on their site. Check those and match your output from the PC to those and you should be in good to go. Also look at this article with same issue as you. They made changes to input to UHD color on port 2 which may work for you. The solution they have is about 3/4 down the thread in the forum. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2310647/connect-samsung.html Here is an article that explains some about the Cables and resolution limits. I know it's 2 years old and I would assume (not knowing your the exact TV model) that the HDMI is supporting HDMI 2.0. http://www.cnet.com/news/hdmi-vs-displayport-vs-dvi-vs-vga-which-connection-to-choose/
  5. Here are some possible reasons and solution. I think your TV or video card only supports 30Hz signal input refresh for higher resolutions and it is possible that your video card may be detecting the TV but trying to feed a 60Hz signal (I know it probably advertises 240Hz but that is the video processor on board TV). Best bet is to hook a normal monitor to the DVI port and the TV to HDMI so that you can see the video settings on the monitor. Once you access the video settings you can adjust the Refresh down 30Hz or adjust the resolution to HD which I believe will work at 60Hz on your TV. Also, make sure you have HDMI cables that are rated for high resolution. I have heard that less than v2.0 HDMI cable can have issues. The reason you can see in Safe mode is that your video is forced to 800X600 60Hz which the TV can handle. Good luck.
  6. I found the map. I downloaded it and am going to test it. Great map for multiple play types, FT, CTF, TDM, DM etc... I think it will need to be modified for FT. http://www.netday.be/games/cod4/maps/mp-pval/review/en/
  7. Gamers Hell had MP Project Valhalla but it's not available now http://www.gamershell.com/download_55060.shtml I'll keep looking.
  8. Yes it is the Oil Rig. I just thought it would be a neat map...I guess I like the more detailed maps...
  9. Yes...I did it...lol.
  10. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but hopefully so. I played a map a while back called Project Valhalla (MP-pval) and it was a nice map that I though would make a good FT map. Has XI ever played that map in FT and would anyone consider it if not. Just a thought...
  11. Thats so awesome. I finally get to see that little baby we been talking about for...um 9 months? how time flies...
