they just called again and this time he was gonna give me a number to call (probably calling them back) I told him I called and talked to a Microsoft security rep and he hung up on me! LOL

they only had my phone number. they didn't even know my name! LOL. they just called me sir.

I got a phone call from someone claiming to be windows tech support.... they told me my computer was sending out a message to them that unauthorized people/hackers were using my computer... they wanted me to go turn on my computer and go into script commands.... at that point I asked them to verify who they were and my license key... they started over again.... I hung up on them and went online to find this has been going on for a while. evidently they get you to screw up your computer when they are claiming to help you fix the problem and charge you on a credit card ... the call comes from a call center in india... MICROSOFT will never call you like this if there is a problem.... im sure some of you know about this but just in case I thought I would put it out there!!! P.S. I never even turned on my computer... I just played along until I could prove they were not who they claimed to be!!! LOL
