  1. Topic Note: Please only respond with feedback of what I am asking, use the tracker for everything else. I have been playing around with using a CDN to serve the static content of this website (such as images) to users, as well as that the CDN also gets the data from the website rather than the user getting it. I set this up a couple of days ago and would like to see if anyone has noticed any difference. If you have noticed the site loading faster/slower or even staying the same please post - however - with your post please include two details: Your ping to xtremeidiots.com Your ping to direct.xtremeidiots.com You can either screenshot or just add in your results in your reply, to get the ping open up command promt and type 'ping xtremeidiots.com' or 'ping direct.xtremeidiots.com' Thanks,
  2. Yeah it's possible in most games to load a different object instead of the player object - usually spams the log with errors but is funny all the same Not sure how it would have happened here though.
  3. DNS wouldn't change anything, essentially all DNS does is translate domain names (like xtremeidiots.com) into IP addresses. Using public DNS servers really just means that you are using data which is updated more often. The server is not biased to country.. just a little joke from Prodjekta Sammy would have to give the detail on how the server actually determines who to move
  4. The server hates all players except me
  5. You wouldn't of needed to do any of that - it was all server side. I just wanted to have a play with SSL/HTTPS and some CDN stuff. It will most likely happen again soon - just ignore it and wait for me to fix it when it does.
  6. Anyway.. probably to everyone's relief I'm going to leave SSL for a bit and play with using a CDN for the static content.. o.O fun
  7. You see the problem with playing with SSL.. is that it needs to be on the main site lol.. can't really play elsewhere
  8. I think I have set it up correctly on the login page and password change etc. and the admin side of things. Apart from that it disagrees with the rest of the site as there is lots of external data and javascript pulls. Maybe someday I will sort it.
  9. Yeah.. I was playing.. go away!
  10. You aren't getting that anymore right? I think I setup SSL correctly - its weird.. just thought it would be fin to play with as I have never done it before
  11. hehe happen to be on here breaking the site
  12. I am aware of the problems - awaiting a third party fix.
  13. Nah - the only people that are exempt of the redirect are >XI< members. The server will select a non XI to be moved, it uses connection time and score I think to work it out, but I cannot remember exactly.
  14. lol provocative title Like Chris says.. the server hates everyone equally.. except me - it loves me Thanks for your comments lol
  15. Tapatalk is having some issues so I will leave it disabled until I get a reply from the developer.
  16. I literally have done nothing with the uploading for ages. but ok.. i'll take the credit I guess
  17. Warning given, appeal successful, topic locked.
  18. IE 11 introduced a load of crap which makes it incompatible with the WYSIWYG editor that IP.Board uses. I will not apply any fixes until the editor company releases them.
  19. It has been an issue with our redirect - the DNS settings were no longer pointing to the correct server. This has since been resolved and as soon as your local DNS server updates it will function normally.
  20. The bots are the zombies.. you kill them
  21. Just bumping - has anyone had any database issues since the fix was applied?
  22. As this wasn't an appeal I have edited the topic/post and moved it into the Battlefield 4 discussion forum.
  23. Because of the time since your ban this will take longer than usual, please be patient a decision will be posted for you.
  24. I have been working on an xmas pressie for my dad and it's included going through his bikes histories and also getting a photo collection sorted. Just thought I would post here for anyone interested. The main bikes of his I focused on were these (there are others just in bits): Norton Dominator 1956 (Jenny) Registration: 11/05/1956 Purchased: 28/10/1977 Norton Commando MKIII 1977 Registration: 16/03/1984 Purchased: 25/05/2006 Norton Commando MKIIA 1975 Registration: 04/02/1975 Purchased: 14/06/2003 Norton Commander Registration: 09/08/1989 Purchased: 08/03/2011 Aprilla Registration: 09/04/2001 Purchased: 02/08/2013 and here are a few of the pictures from the collection (isn't my dad a handsome fellow?): Hope you enjoyed If you have any classic bike pics (especially Nortons) post em up
