It has been an issue with our redirect - the DNS settings were no longer pointing to the correct server. This has since been resolved and as soon as your local DNS server updates it will function normally.

Just bumping - has anyone had any database issues since the fix was applied?

I have been working on an xmas pressie for my dad and it's included going through his bikes histories and also getting a photo collection sorted. Just thought I would post here for anyone interested. Finally had time to implement a fix, seems that we have been having a higher than usual traffic rate on the website lately and have been hitting a limit on connections. I have upped the limit and hopefully we should not run into this problem. If the problem occurs again post here (once it's back up ofc)

I think the main reason was although we had a few members that played it we did not have any admins that were willing to take over the server. We cannot run servers without admins so they were removed.

The website is however the latest IE update prevents the WYSIWYG editor from functioning correctly... IE just being annoying as per usual.

From my knowledge it has only been occurring for one week - when did you first see it? It's not a virus.. I know the problem but as of yet have not had the time to fix it.

Everyone gets them, they are sporadic and affect all when they occur. I do not know the downtime length caused by one. If I am online I have to restart the server (not the database server - the actual server) to get it back online again. I have been busy with University so have been unable to actually look at it as of late.

I think that there is two correct answers.. So I voted twice.

With that attitude you would have us remove anything that comes into question or causes minor disturbances (yes.. this is a minor disturbance, nothing more). There are people in the clan which dislike each and every server we run, each and every feature on the website, the website itself, Facebook, Teamspeak.. everything. We are a diverse clan and as such this sort of thing will come up. I do not see why you are requesting the feature removed just because a some disagree with your views on it (if that is the reason) - again I will say that I do not think this is a problem.. merely a minor disturbance. The reason for the disturbance is some, like myself, have read the comments in the thread and disagree with them - such as being lazy for not voting - not the feature itself.

I do not vote because I do not want to - simple as that. Nothing to do with how hard it is or how I feel of XI. There are many features on the website, on the servers and throughout XI that some members do not use because they simply do not want to - why would I remove them because not everyone uses them?
