Thank you all for your kind comments it does mean a lot and is much appreciated. My wife has decided to turn a little corner of our garden into a memorial garden and that is where we will bury his ashes, if it makes it easier for her I am good with that.

What makes it worse is it happened so quick Friday we were in the garden running and playing then Saturday morning he was not well. I never thought we would lose him before his Mum and Dad . But he had a tumour in his spleen we did not know about it ruptured and he lost 60% of his blood into his stomach before we knew anything about it. They removed it but it was too late. The only consolation is we got to hold him before he passed and were with him at the end.

As a family we are heartbroken our youngest of 3 dogs took ill on Saturday Morning by 4pm we were at the vets saying goodbye to him. Noah was the most gentle funny loyal dog.

Dean the problem you have if there is any Drive connected to your PC that is infected that Virus will spread to any other drive you install (Unless you find a really good Antivirus program that can remove it) . Or The only other way is a clean install but like RobMc I would need to know what you have so we can work out the easiest fix for you before you spend any money.

Yes you do need patch 1.7 If you go to the community tab at the top of the screen you will see a drop down tab Downloads if you look in Cod4 you will find all the patches. But if the game was crashing before it was more than likely due to the sound drivers on you PC so it might be a good idea to update them while you are at it. I hope this helps

Dean Can you go to start menu,,,then click on computer then click on system properties on top of screen that will bring up a page that will tell you what processor you have, it will also tell you what Ram you have. Write that down then on the left of your screen click on device manager which will bring up a drop down list. click on Display adapter which will then tell what Graphics card you have write that down. then let us know and from that we can tell you exactly what you have and what you need .

I see so its storage you need your HD (hard drive) is not big enough to store everything you need. Now that is a simple fix you have a couple of options an external HD that plugs into a usb port Or an internal one that would connect to one of your SATA ports. for me I would go internal here in the UK the internal are cheaper and out of the way once installed. I am not sure about the US and prices but they are generally not too much. it would then just be a case of formating and give it a drive letter (but most PC's will do that automatically once its connected)

Like @RobMc has said if you are not really sure of what you are doing I would not touch the Bios settings at all a little mistake can cause big problems. With regards Power Supply 850 should be plenty. Try and explain what you need to do and we can give you better advice Dean. If you need to add more ram we need to know how many sticks and type that you already have and also how many slots your mother board has. you can free up Memory that your PC is using on background programs but thats only a minor amount and would need to be done every time you start up. So just let us know how much Ram you have installed, How many sticks of Ram, And how many slots your mother board has. And a side note what games you intend to play which will give us a rough I dear of what you need Edit....... Also if that is a new PC opening it up and changing things would Void any warranty

Wasnt given a reason for ban, admins that were on seemed very power hungry was just trying to have fun with a few friends. Atleast give me a reason for ban?". Is not the best way to start a conversation when making an appeal. The Admins have a very difficult job to do and in my experience ( 12 years ) not once have they been POWER HUNGRY. But I am sure they will make the right decision with regards your Ban. My friendly advice to you next time try being a bit humble and understand the Admins are their to keep the servers fun and trouble free. Well have a nice day.
