LOL Sue looks like there is no PSU? maybe its just me who cant find it dont like this combo deal this much....there are a few parts I wouldnt buy for gaming the FX-6100 is not the best buy....its slower like my 2 years old i5 750 at overall performance a 60 GB SSD is wasted money IMHO....go for a 120 GB version at least cpu cooler....if you go with stock settings and the cpu is not this hot headed the cooler is fine if you want to OC a little bit in the future go get another one maybe have a look at this one http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/New_Year_Paladin_Dr.I

how much money do you want to afford? I would go for a new power supply for sure....PSUs always loose power over the years I think its called Electrolytic capacitor aging

I had bad experiences with both dual graphic setups....Nvidia and AMD sometimes it works sometimes not LOL at my current sys the Crossfire with 2x 6970 works awesome....BF3 with Ultra settings and resolution 1920x1080 /+120fps if you dont want to build a sys on your own it looks like a good buy to me though I dont really like the 6850 1GB cards too bad you are not able to customize

LOL hope this solved your issue the RAM would have been the next thing to ask for....bad RAM can be a pain in the ass I had a lot of freezes because of OCing it.... nice if it was just an error putting it in ... so finally merry christmas buddy

I had a look at a couple of benches with the 550ti in 3dmark11 the average scores are at 2500 points(performance bench) these results are made with a much faster cpu like yours so I think your score is okay a few BF3 benches I have seen the average fpss are around 20 to 30 with a 550ti which resolution do you play ?

I am using a 850W Enermax PSU with 30A/12Vrail and 2x modded 6950 2GB with 6970 bios in Crossfire + 4 Ghz i5 CPU I am close to the limit with my psu and have to upgrade soon but its still enough to run my sys thats why I thought it can be a psu failure

kk you had this before you bought the new card but its getting worse? you had a 5770 before right? because of the power consumption of the new card(almost 2x) I would think about a psu failure thats my first thought because it was getting worse like I mentioned a reason for a freeze is always hard to find

its hard to find errors like that if you didnt change anything at your sys no new hardware or new progis installed when this error happened the first time... as far as I know you installed a new graphic card not this long ago? did you have freezes before ?

2cuteSue didnt think i had to deinstall the driver as it was still an Nvidia card going in and using the same driver... The software that came with the card was actually older driver then the one needed to play bf3... still went to nvidia website and installled the current driver as BF3 would not let me play with the software provided by the card.... I always do a fresh install with new hardware even if its still nvidia there might be a few settings or driver parts that wont work with the new card.... always go to the nvidia homepage and dl the newest drivers because the software that comes with the card is outdated most of the time LOL what cpu do you have ? with 2.4 Ghz is might be the bottleneck of your sys but for sure it should work a lot better like your old card

for sure you deinstalled your old drivers and reinstalled the newest ones ?
