PigDog OK, it just did it again, so I guess I need to do the reinstall of the drivers. My BIOS is Manufacturer: American Megatrends Caption: 08/15/2011 Version: 0801 you bought the P8Z68-V PRO right? try the reinstall of the nvidia drivers first.... but there are three new bios versions of the motherboard under bug fixes: fix random crashes if some graphic cards are installed if the graphic driver reinstall is not working try the bios update

cleaning the card is not the solution at a 4 weeks old rig LOL go with a total fresh install of the graphic drivers this can be caused by many things....but thats the first thing to start with... have done a little research but I have to hurry a bit and will post some stuff later edit: bios version of your mainboard?

can be everything LOL but if its a blue screen that might help go to control panel/ system and security/ system/advanced system settings settings of startup and recovery/ uncheck automatically restart so the bsod should stay when it crashes write down what caused the bsod and try to google it hope that helps

JohnnyQuest go for your own build.....i'll never shelf buy again... not to sound disrespectful but for some people it might be too hard to build it on their own I have built dozens of rigs for friends and other people but some of them would never be able to setup a really good rig some people are just interested to buy and play

Shamu Some people say to turn up the fans...... I have no idea of how you do that. there is a tool called MSI afterburner http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm thats an easy to use tool to control your temps and fan settings
