The pistol is very light, have not yet shot it. Bought it and documented it for my records with the photo and an Excel file I maintain. Anyone owning guns should keep a record file and photos.

Damage_inc- next time/every so often.copy your profiles and put on a usb drive you toss in back of drawer.gl That's the way to go. I use a flash drive to both save my "Profile" and to transfer the data to whichever PC I am going to play on. Keeps my character always up to date on any of 3 PC's. And if I have a crash I will still have very current data to input on reinstall.

Just a fun .22 Mag plinker. This is Kel-Tec's new PMR-30, a 30 round .22 Mag. First Kel Tec I have owned. Sight picture and trigger pull are good.

Okay, here I go again with the trend setters of Rock and Roll and a inspiration to the Beatles: " IF WE HAD NOT CALL IT ? ROCK "N" ROLL , WE SHOULD HAVE CALL THIS MUSIC CHUCK BERRY"....................JOHN LENNON ONCE SAID. Berry was among the first musicians to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on its opening in 1986, with the comment that he "laid the groundwork for not only a rock and roll sound but a rock and roll stance."

As I have said before in another thread blame can be spread around rather easily. COMPANIES need to realize the employees deserve a fair wage and a safe and clean working environment. Unions need to realize the company deserves to expect a fair days productive effort from it's employees regardless of the assignment. Understand I support the companies right of assignment for work. I have worked in a restrictive job classification shop and know it kills the companies ability to compete. I will use myself as an example. I was a Journeyman Tool and Die Welder earning in excess of $23.00 per hour back in the early 1990's. I worked a whole lot of overtime. Yet most of my time at Budd I did very little work. I just had to be there in case something broke that required a person of my job classification to weld it. I have gone weeks at a time without striking an arc yet not allowed to help others with their work because of job class protection. No wonder we lose out to foreign competition. Government most definitely needs to take a more protective interest in our manufacturing sector. It provides good jobs for both skilled and unskilled labor. NAFTA is bogus and is a noose around our neck. Just look at all the industry that has gone to Mexico. Wages are low, work ethic is good.......yes the Mexicans are excellant workers..... and plant safety standards are nothing like what American plants are held to meet. Another point about NAFTA, a company I serviced, now out of business, lost all their forging and finishing work to India. Not part of the NAFTA agreement. So the parts are now forged in India, sent to Mexico for finishing and because the higher percentage of the per piece cost was applied to the part for finishing in Mexico the work falls under the NAFTA agreement. The fact that forging it went to India becomes irrelevant. Bogus IMHO. About 100 people in CT lost their jobs over this one. Hell, I could go on and on about government issues, and not just Federal but state and local. Be a local long established company and try to get government assistance to modernize and expand production ......... very hard to do. Come in from a foreign country and propose building a new plant and you get all kinds of aid and tax breaks. Even if that is exactly what the older plant could have done had they received some government help. So, there is lot's of blame to spread around.

I am a retiree from the Budd Company, Philadelphia Plant. This video is about the closing of the Budd Detroit plant and a promo for the book Punching Out which I have just ordered from Amazon. It covers the last year of the plant. For me the video is depressing, my time at Budd was wonderful and provided me with a good living. I lost my job at 52 years of age but thankfully had attained over 30 years service for retirement purposes. I was also able to find future employment because of the connections I had made while at Budd. I owe a lot to the Budd Company and the UAW and completely regret having been part of a plant closing. I wish I could still have been working there. The video is pretty much the same as what happened in Philly, the original Home of the Budd Company.

Since much of the dialogue has morphed into a dialogue about unions I will say they are a necessary evil. Giving the workers a united front can level the playing field in negotiations. Restrictive job classifications are detrimental to our ability to compete with foreign competition. If a worker is limited to only his specific skill there is too much unproductive time and inflated product cost. Let a worker work 8 hours at whatever he is skilled enough to do. Seniority is a poor way to determine the layoff order in slow times. Skill and performance should be the determining factor. Tenure sucks. Teachers should be readily accountable for the performance of their students. I also see way too many "off" days or "in Service" days. They should not have summers off but should be operating in summer schools, at no pay increase, for children who need special help. Classroom size should be larger reducing the amount of teachers needed. Example, the US classroom size at 13 years of age is just over 18. Japan is 35. But Japans students perform better than ours. Bottom line for me is for both employers and employees be held accountable for their performance. If you don't perform, get outof town. Understand this sentiment applies to the management team also. Arrgghhhh................ to early in the morning to be getting pissed. And for some insight into myself I have served as a union steward, alternate committeeman and participated in both contract and arbitration hearings. I have seen the dirty end of both sides.
-
Let me also clarify that I do feel good teachers and education are one of the keys to our success going forward as a country. I just have problem when the students become tools that the teachers use to obtain their demands. Argue your case on merit and leave the kids out of it. As things are now teachers are gradually losing the support of the tax paying public, including fellow union brothers.
-
As a retired member UAW Local 813 the below action by a local teachers union disgusts me. I am embarassed that a union would use 5th grade students as a tool to advance their cause. Absolutely disgusting. It has been my observation for many years that teachers unions use the students as a means to and end......MONEY. Their issues are rarely about providing a better education for the student but rather ways to feather their own nest at the expense of the student. http://www.myfoxphilly.com/dpp/news/local_news/021511-kids-get-pro-union-homework-assignment

X-RayXI Just .. just LISTEN to the CROWD ! Believe me, I know of the crowd support, but I fear the support is not based on skill but who his Daddy was. Dale Sr. was an icon for the sport and fans are hoping JR. can somehow keep them connected to Sr. I do not think there can be any argument that Jr. has the on track skills to justify the support he gets.
-
Mrs Bud And maybe he got his foot in the door because of his last name, but if I remember correctly, he won the first Winston Cup (that's what it was called then) race he ever drove in...don't think he was ridding his dad's coattails then, and he isn't now!!! Aww, that's a nice sweet sentiment on Valentines Day, sweet on Dale Jr. Granted he has lucked out and won on occasion but there are many other young drivers who have done better but do not have coat tails like Dale Sr. to hang on to. Jr still remains the connection, for many fans, to Dale Sr. But who am I to argue with success, he is marketable to the racing public and sponsors. And that is what really counts on the bottom line. Just a shame he can't get it on merit.
-
Don't look for Dale JR to do anything spectacular. Sooner or later he will fall off of Daddie's coat tails and just be another driver on the circuit. God knows he has been given all the opportunity to excel on the track and he just can't seem to get it done. Who you know has gone a long way for Dale's popularity, sooner or later it has to come down to his driving. As for me I do not think Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus are about to roll over for anyone. They are still the team to beat. With the new point system woe be to any driver that get a few DNF's.

My two labs would love that device but it would probably scare the poo out of the cat.

Mal, my guess is that Coyote shots will be at more than 100 yards unless you stumble on a dumb one. I would consider adding a scope to that rig. Coyotes ain't that big and at more than 200 yards open sights will be a challenge. Understand that this sentiment comes from a person who has never left a wounded animal in the woods, if I shot at it I got it. I have often told my youngest son the best shot he ever made was the one he didn't take when he was not sure he could make the kill. Also take time to look up Trajectory Charts. They can give you the exact yardage for your "Zero" and how high or low to aim at other yardages. Range 100 yds. 200 yds. 300 yds. 400 yds. 500 yds. + + 1.4 0 - 7.2 - 22.3 - 48.7 The one above shows if you are "Zero" at 200 yds you will shoot 1.4" high at 100 yds. and 7.2" low at 300 yds. Understand the gun and ammo each add some variables. Just some understanding of trajectory is very useful. Essentially this one is saying if you hit 1.4" high at 100 yds you will be right on target at 200 yds. The below link, IMHO, is good info on trajectory: http://www.chuckhawks.com/rifle_trajectory_table.htm Good luck with your gun!

A gentleman I have had the pleasure of meeting. If you can appreciate speed shooting this is the guy to watch. 12 revolver shots, on target, with a reload in under 3 seconds.

How Obama's stimulus package works It is a slow day in the small Saskatchewan town ofPumphandle and streets are deserted. Times are tough, everybody is in debt, andeverybody is living on credit. A tourist visiting the area drives through town, stops at the motel, and lays a$100 bill on the desk saying he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs to pick onefor the night. As soon as he walks upstairs, the motel owner grabs the bill and runs next doorto pay his debt to the butcher. The butcher takes the $100 and runs down the street to retire his debt to thepig farmer. The pig farmer takes the $100 and heads off to pay his bill to his supplier, the Co-op. The guy at the Co-op takes the $100 and runs to pay his debt to the localprostitute, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer her"services" on credit. The hooker rushes to the hotel and pays off her room bill with the hotel owner. The hotel proprietor then places the $100 back on the counter so the travelerwill not suspect anything. At that moment the traveler comes down the stairs, states that the rooms arenot satisfactory, picks up the $100 bill and leaves. No one produced anything. No one earned anything... However, the whole townthinks that they are now out of debt and there is a false atmosphere ofoptimism. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how an Obama stimulus package works.

As before I stick with the Oldies and of the oldies some are simply fantastic performers. I have had the immnese pleasure of seeing Miss Tina Turner live after her split with Ike. Not gonna say she has the best voice but she is a fantastic entertainer. One hell of an electric show, the girl gives you everything she's got when on stage.

I see a few posts about Cracked CD's and perhaps others using their key codes. Can't say I have much sympathy....... use cracks or giving out your key code is a risk you assume along with any consequences. Just like your PC, if someone else uses it and gets in trouble, well the problem is yours. Bottom line is gaming responsibly. Take a risk, you assume the risk and perhaps pay a price.

And I too use the dot on my screen and steady aim to hip shoot like Shamu ,, Lets understand my dot is not from a file modification but simply a dot I physically mark on my PC screen. I do not want anyone thinking I modify any Config files or anything like that. I do get kicked by PB if I forget to turn off my spy ware program. I use PC Tools "Spyware Doctor", game mode does not work either. I have to shut it off entirely or PB kicks me. Fortunately just a kick but personally it is embarrassing thinking I may look like i am running a hack. It's like shopping at Walmart, paying for your purchases, and then having the damn security alarm go off because something was not desensitized. If they screw up and the alarm goes off, scaring and embarrassing me, I should get an automatic 25% off my order.

A lot of the anti-cheat options come down to which is the best alternative, not saying any are perfect. In a former clan we simply trusted PB to monitor the cheats. Accusing someone of cheating was taboo and considered whining. If PB does not catch them just game on on don't worry yourself about it. That philosophy worked quite well and seemed to be the best alternative in addressing cheats. But like the real world nothing is ever perfect, you just do the best you can with what you have. IMHO >XI< is doing the best they can. It is no easy task and takes a lot of work by, usually, a few active contributing members.

While having been an Admin in mostly MoH side of clans using Autokick and similar programs I have a question. While PB automatically scans for hacks / cheats and bans those caught can't a Clan member, with the proper authority, implement a PB ban themselves? Meaning it becomes a clan members judgment call which, despite all good intentions, is often in error. As a member of [FS] we basically left cheat detection to solely to PB. But somewhere in the back of my mind I thought a head Admin could impose a PB ban. I may be confusing this issue with a permanent server ban. Granted this is a sympathy post, I feel bad seeing some of your members having to remove tags which are often cherished. If they hacked by all means they deserve what they get. If the ban was placed by a human member of a PB participating clan I would not be too sure the call was right. I am quite sure many of your Admins or better players are well used to cheat accusations when in reality it is just good play. If a PB ban can be implemented because of a suspicion I think the ban might be questioned. This all might have been a dumb question but in the back of my mind I thought it could happen. PS...... Please do not ban me for my screen dot

Brilliant in its simplicity................ A. Back off and let those men who want to marrymen, marry men. B. Allow those women who want to marry women, marry women. C. Allow those folks who want to abort their babies, abort their babies. D. In three generations, there will be no Democrats. Damn - I love it when a plan comes together.

I for one, considering our known existing options, would most certainly vote for him. An interesting interview:
