  1. Added a screen pic to lead post and a pic of the game controller I use.
  2. LaRSin That's what I would call desperate ,, But if it helps who I'm I to say.. When you are 67 with bad eyes desperate just may well apply.
  3. I have mentioned in Gamevoice what I do to aid me in game to many of you, especially in FT. I have never made a secret of it and have told many of you. It is something I have done dating many years back to MoH AA. Personally I do not consider it hacking, no more than using a game controller instead of the keyboard. Just thought I would post it here instead of trying to explain it in game over the noise of the fight and interrupting game dialogue. I place a small dot with White Out in the center of my monitor. I simply bring up a gun that aims down the sight steadily on put a little white dot at that spot. This is a pic of the Bic White Out marker I prefer to use: Below the dot can be seen on the box. I use a 22" flat screen LCD and the mark is easily removed with a alcohol swab if it bothers you on other computer activities. In my case I am used to it and never remove it. Being the sole PC user makes this easy. In FT I do not have to aim down the sight to be on target for a thaw, all I need do is put the White Out spot on them and I am on target. Since I also use the /+activate command in console I do not have to hit the 'F' key either in order to thaw. While it is primarily a benefit to me in FT I also find it is also good for the run and gun game. Even if I do not sight down my barrel now exactly where my aim point is even if the grouping is scattered in firing from the hip. And my Nostromo N 52 by Belkin: There is a newer version available but for me the Nostromo makes moving much easier.
  4. Bushape, thanks so much for the kind words but as I have told others I am enjoying my time as a guest. I have been an admin in a couple of other clans and sort of like just being a guest with no responsibility. Anyway, all your members have always treated me with respect, almost as if I were a member, and make this Clan an excellent place for guests to enjoy gaming and forum dialogue. Now I am going to go and try to hold a gun with my foot........LOL.
  5. Freaking amazing from my point of view:
  6. Good map, shame that for the moment it does not work with FT. It has "Stealth" tanks, they make no noise. Careful with the blue globes, you can get in but not back out........ at least I couldn't but perhaps I needed to use the magic word.....F U.
  7. Gives Favre another day to heal. I just wish he would retire and go sit in his rocking chair. Question.... When he does retire and gets elected to the Hall will he go as a Packer, Jet or a Viking????
  8. Dark Asylumn fuck you, fuck you , fuck you, fuck you, your cool, and fuck you Im outta here, whos comin with me Me....
  9. WANTED FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! Finally, my expectations are met! http://www.xtremeidiots.com/fora_topic.asp?tid=12521|108546#a108546
  10. Any lower and the Truce Flag would have compromised my humble opinion of suitable Public Forum posts ........
  11. RogueKill My post wasn't directed toward you at all Shamu,I hope you know that-you know me-and I love playin with you, NP Rogue, I did not respond to your post, basically I was making the point that I understood the posts are in jest. My history with Clans usually kept those type of posts in the private section with which I found no fault. I suppose my comments are mostly because I see no merit or benefit for that type of post, humor or not in a public section. I suspect most guests might even refrain from joining that type dialogue.....I know I would......... at least in public.
  12. Trust me, I understand about context and that the comments are in humor and my post was made with that understanding. I am also actually pleased that the first response was not "FU SHAMU!". I shall consider that progress. I still feel, humor or not, the posts lack a certain professionalism and do little to represent the Clan to future members as a family. I also sense that they are inconsistent with my previous perusal of the forums.
  13. Perhaps I am about to put my foot in my mouth but I have found all this FU stuff in Public Forums to be a bit overboard and inconsistent with what I have seen of your family in the past. Understand, I am no prude and I shop talk with the best of you that participate in the forums or in games. I do however try to behave as if I am a guest in some one's house. Even though it clearly states that XI is an adult clan I find all the recent FU stuff to be childish and immature. It's just overkill and does nothing good for anyone. IMHO, it does not represent your clan, to the general viewing public including minors, in a favorable light. Perhaps I have overstepped my bounds as a guest but I am a big boy that often says what is on his mind. To me the recent posts were a disappointing to see from a group for which I carried much respect. Feel free to take your shots at me or take my post down. Just offering my opinion.
  14. I, of course, never got to meet Killer. It is obvious I have missed something good. A lesson can however be learned from his passing........ good people are not forgotten. And that is as it should be.
  15. UnChileno This took a wrong turn some where.... C'mon now Chile, did you expect anything else with Forum type dialogue?
  16. Sonovabich Nobody can argue with South Americas love of the great game, just more proof that it is a working class game, and long may it continue Probably the best statement so far...... "a working class game". Can be played with absolutely no uniform expense (yes, barefoot is OK) which cannot be said for football or Ice Hockey. Costs parents an arm and a leg in the Sates and Canada to outfit a kid for Ice Hockey or Football.
  17. And for John Cleese's benifit he would do well to research English history or at least visit Wikipedia. For his benefit: The term soccer originated in England, first appearing in the 1880s as an Oxford "-er" abbreviation of the word "association"
  18. Can't argue about Rugby.......really rough game but I still do not know the rules. Would certainly watch Rugby over Soccer.
  19. DEEJAYKEG And why do they shout out the vital statistics of the cheerleaders during play? You've heard them - "36, 24, 36...hup, hup hup!". ??? And there you have another reason to watch American Football! Thanks! Does Soccer have any eye candy for the fans viewing pleasure? Might alleviate some of the boredom and help keep the Hooligans in their seats.
  20. As much as I hate to admit it he makes many valid points. I believe in the last Superbowl there were only 12 minutes of actual play time. But still, soccer in America is viewed, in many cases, as a pansy sport dominated by "Soccer Moms" A sentiment with which I am in agreement. There is very little more boring than soccer, football for the purists out there, other than possibly baseball. In each case you might as well go watch grass grow. How do you get excited about where people run back in forth for 90 minutes and usually fail to score a goal?. No wonder the stands are more exciting to watch than the games. It's a pretty good bet a few scrums will break out in the stands for spectator enjoyment.
  21. Disrespectful I am sure but I do not miss him at all and especially not the culture he embraced.
  22. Sad to see no post on Pearl Harbor until the day is almost done. Quote from the You Tube site: This is a song writen in 1942. It was when Americans were still mad at Japan because of Pearl Harbor. Please do not take offense at this. Just disregard what is offensive. Remember the time it was made. I just want people to "Remember Pearl Harbor." Enjoy If this Y T video is perceived as racist please remove it. I took it more as representative of the feeling shortly after the attack.
  23. Based on the Christmas Truce during World War I between the British and German Soldiers. I expect our British friends might enjoy this one as much as I do. Gotta love things based on historical fact: http://www.fylde.demon.co.uk/xmas.htm
  24. This is a Python: PS: I hope they did not kill that snake!
  25. The more I read the more pleased I am that I was able to return the game and get my money back from Gamestop. It is even questionable as to whether or not I will try the game in the future. I was not that much impressed with the game anyway. As mods and maps come out perhaps it will be better.
