Toast; I am only a guest here at >XI< and can say from a guests perspective tat you will be hard pressed to find a better group to either game with or join in forum participation. Their servers are run with fun in mind and respect to all, member or not. While they are an "Adult" I have also noticed that if a minor is in game most members and guests keep that in mind with any text messages or game voice out of unspoken respect. As for their forums, and as a long time gamer, I can say that XI members do not hide in their forums members only section as can be found with some clans. They interact often with all forum visitors. I usually play CoD 5 and a little CoD 4, if you see me on key up your mic and say hello.

LOL, so much for Boise State. I am sure the BCS and NCAA are happy to see some controversy fall by the fall in the charts.

Only reason to root for Bama was so that Boise State could move up. Obviously I am sick of the BCS, the Bowls and the NCAA. Money and greed are the only reasons there is no playoff system in college football.

Don't worry, Bama" might yet have the game given to them if Cam Newton is declared ineligible.....LOL. So don't give up hope, you might get a gift.

We have never met but please accept my heart felt sympathy for you and her family. None of us can ever understand what you are going through but you may find that your fellow XI members can be a very good support system.

I have heard that the old Medal of Honor series ( AA, Spearhead, Breakthrough ) does not run well, if at all on Win 7 64 bit. Any truth to this? If so, can I get around by using the XP install option?

Sonovabich July 1997 i lost my dog Max ( an English Bull Terrier ) and i still can't face getting another dog, it broke my heart. SOB, just do it. A new dog never replaces the one you lost but will earn it's own special place in your heart. I have had dogs in my life since the day I was born and will until the day I die. My memories of pets have caused me to shed many a tear but has never deterred me from bonding with a new pet. And don't feel slighted Johnny, I also have a cat. I am most fortunate because my wife and I both share a love of pets as does each of my children The poem came to mind because we just found out yesterday about my son's new wife losing her pet dog. We sent them the poem. A few minutes ago I got a call from my son, he and his wife will be over in about 30 minutes............... with their new puppy! Take a lesson from them SOB............ go get a pup.

Ctrl + helps enlarge text as does Ctrl Scroll Fwrd. Ctrl - shrinks text as does Ctrl scroll back From an experienced half blind user.

Change "Players who got their purchase money back - zero" to at least One. Mine was returned to Gamestop and money refunded with no problems. In talking to the store personnel it seems quite a few have been returned. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they accommodated me. In fact I walked out to the car, cash in hand, and then turned around and walked back in and bought MoH LE.

If a game has this many problems it is time to back off and let others be the guinea pigs. Downloading programs in the HOPE that it fixes things may only bugger your PC even more. At least have a good Restore point before experimenting. Experimenting is what many are doing and being part of an experiment can be terminal. For me it will be sit back and wait. Black Ops has failed to follow the Mogan David wine concept, "Sell No Wine Before It's Time", a very good concept.

evool Shamu .. i got this message about 4 times yesterday .. they are still having network issues and theres nothing wrong with your game what so ever ... just force the update and ull be fine ... game has bugs right now but they are working on it and things will be fine in the near future im sure. and no need to return the game. So, how do I force an update??? Obviously I am stupid on this stuff. I have deleted and re-installed about 5 times. I have run Defrag, cleared my cache and cleaned system registry. Nothing changes, same eroor message I have been getting since Friday. God only knows how many times I have tried logging in. On the latest re-install, about 10 Min. ago, I noticed updates being downloaded that I did not notice before. They did no good at all. Maybe I will call Activision and sit on hold for hours. Or just take the damn game back, I did get some kind of return option that cost me 3.00 at Game Spot.

BTW, this is the message I get even after a reinstall: On the reinstall I used my same Steam account ID. Maybe I should create another ID????? I am close to returning the damn game.

Deleted Steam and reinstalled, same damn problem. I did use my existing Steam account instead of creating a new one. Could that be a problem?

Mazdarati Shamu i had to dump everything and reinstall and it worked ... Guess that's what I will also do later tonight. I have my Config saved and will try to paste it in and see if I keep my rank.

Still can't get MP to load at all, posted an inquiry in the Steam forums, will see what is offered if anything.

How many times should you just have followed your instinct instead of impulse? My gut told me not to buy Blk Ops on the release date, wait s few weeks or so for the bugs to be resolved. Me, like the old fool I am, could not wait and I bought and installed on first day out............... much to my regret. One of these days I will learn to trust my instinct above all else. Actually would have been a good rule for me to follow in the stock markets also.

evool but what u can do right now is try a little "force the update"thingy in Steam that might help you a little .. go to your game library .. then right click on BO multiplayer select properties the select local files and go down onto the 3rd tab saying "verify integrity of game cache" and click on it and wait till it finishes ... i know Tball posted that up. it worked for me. Did not work for me. I can't even get to where you can see the browsers. I start the game to load, the little circle thingy freezes and I get the can't connect message. This is not looking good.
