If you are talking about Bdogxi's post about getting the game for Christmas, he did ask if he should keep it or return it, my reply was only meant as a joke, i have had many people pm me or xfire me asking about the game, i have never said to anybody not to buy it, i just tell them that we are waiting for the mods to come out and see how it goes then Sorry about your friend dying on Christmas eve m8.

T-ball i repeat what i said yesterday, if i pay a lot of money for a game then i feel the right to come and have a moan about it, as i have been told in the past that the forum is the place to come and vent our feelings, have a whine have a whinge rather then doing it on the servers, then this is what i'm doing. Everytime someone has a moan about this game (and lets face there are lots) Black Ops admins seem to take it as a personal attack on them, please don't, i'm sure nobody (certainly not me) are having a go at you admins who i'm sure are doing a good job, people are having a go at the asshole of a company (Treyarch) and the unfinished version of the game that they released too early because of shear greed, but please don't keep telling me that it is improving, as i already said in the earlier post, i can only play/find one of our servers TDM which is always empty, i have been told that there are around 18,000 servers out there, the most i ever got showing was 8,000 out of that i had access to about 600, has this statistic improved in the 7 or 8 weeks since the game came out...no!, and please don't tell me "don't play the game if you don't like it" i want to play it and i want to play on XI servers where i know people, where there is a possibility of someone actually talking to each other, i want to like the game but it is making it a very difficult for me to like it, it's ok for people to come on here and say " oo in the future i think it will be great game" well we don't know that all we know is as of this moment it ain't, also comparing it to waw cod5, fair enough cod 5 did have a lot of problems and has now turned into a good game but i went through the many months of crap that was happening with that game but i can't remember being as frustrated as this, at least while the crap was happening i could still play on our servers with my friends, how hard is it to just give us the facility of entering an IP address into a slot and connecting to a game and then saving that game to your favourites, something that does'nt look like it's ever going to happen in Black Ops, it's as if they have deliberately gone out of their way to make this game difficult for people, when i see any improvement in the game i will hold my hands up and say great, but lets face it this game should not have been released in the state it was, we are just moaning about the game and the them fucking robbers Treyarch., so please Black Ops admins don't take any complaints personally, nobody is having a go at you......and don't forget people like to have a whine about something, and the forum is the place to do it.

I don't think a 12 man slot will work, we have to many members ( at least the ones who can actually find our servers ) hell you need 6 men just to start a normal game don't you. I am sick of hearing about how this game is improving, when it first came out i managed to find all 3 of servers eventually, now i'm down to one, XI ranked TDM and it is always empty when i look, people only usually join servers with say at least 5 people in because as i said you can't play with less then 6 players, you can't expect people just to sit around and wait for others to show up, i ain't seeing any improvements at all

I was getting the same problem in the 4 days running up to Christmas, only this was on cod4, at certain times of the day my ping would shoot up to around 600, it's usually between 110 and 140 depending on which server i am playing, i thought it was possibly my internet provider doing some work, ain't played much in the last 2 days but when i did my ping seemed fine....fingers crossed. If we asked people to leave our servers whose ping was above 150 we would be looking at a lot of nearly empty servers.

Yes mine often sticks between maps and when i go into task manager it reloads map but with my resolution changed and i have to leave game to put the original resolution back, also Pigdog that same thing happens to me where you say you get many instances of the game too.

It's a common problem, one of the fixes is to update your sound drivers but it might have been better to do that before you installed cod4, just google iw3mp.exe and it should give you plenty of possible fixes, but updating sound drivers is the one that usually works for me.
