I liked those, too. And please communicate to Dawgy we deeply appreciate everything he has done, and hope to see him back soon. I have only seen him in-game once in the last several months & tried to tell him then, but please re-iterate that to him..... Weasel

POLIZEI Yeah, it was COD2, I didn't even realize I wasn't dying till someone said that I wasn't dying despite direct hits, hell, I thought I was having a great game. I'll try it again, hope it's back to normal, I hate to have to reinstall the whole game again. I've seen it several times, it's just a glitch. Usually just changing teams or logging out & back on will solve it. You can tell when you have it 'cause you usually can't re-load your weapon. I doubt you will have to re-install. Ferret

I think "Yuko" might fit in. It seems like everyone likes shotty maps, too. Maybe some fave stock maps like Matmata or Burgundy or *Toujane*, I know they are old but seems like peeps still like them. Seems like the huge maps are a bit slow if there are only a few players on. That is my 2 cent's worth, and that is exactly what it's worth. Ferret

And to my friends on the COD2 DM server..... this only inspires me to RE-DOUBLE my efforts, and *really* focus on mastering the melee/bash aspect of the game.... and go from "Bash Expert" level to "Bash Sensei". NOTHING gives me more pleasure than hearing fellow Idiots saying "Damn you Ferret", or "Ferret, I HATE you". Seeing that Ferret <XI< with that little power-fist bash symbol (and then a buddies name) at the bottom of screen when I get one.... yep, THAT is satisfyin'! I'm gettin' ready to go get my daily slappy-fix now. See y'all in-game. Your humble Ferret (P.S. - as mentioned above, Bigmeandean's knife stats on the COD4 Ace mod, make mine look anemic. I have played COD4 before, and know that knifing is a similar & unique undertaking as "bashing". Is there something like a "Band-Aid" or "Hemhorrage medal" or something? I've never even chatted with the guy, but stat-wise, he has earned it moreso than I)

BTW, COD4 "Bigmeandean" - just browsing around other server stats - MUCH respect to the knife-kills: Damned impressive. If I ever get a 'puter that will run COD4, we will meet & discuss usage of the melee key. Until then, you da man. Ferret

Oh benevolent gods of idiot medals.... I am a long-time XI server player, but relatively new "formal" Xtreme Idiot member. I was wondering what a weasel would need to do, to get one of those cool, spiffy "Bash Expert" medals? Would this help?: If you go back through XI DM past server statistic archives (if possible, I *USED TO* have different c-tags), I'm sure I'm WELL over 5,000+ bashes net total on the COD2 DM server alone. Likely twice that. Yes, this IS a shameless request, unsure of the propriety thereof. Weasels have little, if any pride. Many of us are lawyers & politicians, after all. If I need to get to 2,000 before the Ultrastat reset or whatever, just let me know. I just want my first real XI medal, and I am willing to shamelessly beg, bribe, or bash & embarrass more Admins or whomever, to do so. I've certainly taken a LOT of deaths, padded P.O.Pete's stats, forced un-willing window campers to MOVE THE F*** OUT, & utterly destroyed my kill/death ratio to get here. Your humble Ferret

Oh, mighty gods of the COD2 map rotation: A humble suggestion from an idiot.... It seems that many/most players like the smaller maps, especially when less than 8-10 peeps on. I used to play a map named "Yuko" a LOT, and I think it might be a good fit, considering the players here and general style of the DM server. It's similar to a larger version of Shipment, but with a pyramid roof, a few rooms & hallways & a version available with MG's over looking span areas available. The map has been around a while in 2 or 3 versions, and I know it was modded to COD4, COD5, and WAW. It is a heavy action map, with few (if any) good camping spots. Just a humble suggestion that I think other players might enjoy, sirs. Ferret

I like the Wild West town map fine, and don't really mind the background music in-game. BUT..... now that "wah wah wah" song is stuck in my friggin' head, and isn't going away. I stayed up 'til 3AM the other night to watch The Good, The bad, and the Ugly..... JUST to hear the soundtrack. If this continues, I may consider legl action. (JK, I do like the map) Ferret

RuStY I like that mod that makes you fart and green gas comes up around you if you camp too long. That is a funny mod, but with these campers, there would be SO much green fart gas on these maps, visibilty would be virtually zero

I swore I'd never join another "clan" after my last one broke my wittle heart & abandoned their COD2 server (it was when COD4 came out & I didn't have the rig to run it). But the idiots on your cod2 servers & forums got to me. A funny group of guys that I VERY much enjoy killing/bashing/humiliating. I know COD2 is an outdated game in several ways, but it still plays very well, and as long as there are idiots playing it, I will too. Thanks fellers, My xfire is "ferret420weezilofwar". I have had few sporadic ping issues lately so I turned xfire off, but have been told xfire or vent. does not really affect ping much, so I can turn it back on. Xfire works OK, but never been able to run ventrillo. I have posted intro a couple times now in "Introductions" thread, so I won't double-bogey that...... but the following biographical video is about all you need to know: (That is me at :17) I'll go ahead & add the admins to my xfire anyway. By the way, ferrets are >>NOT<< rodents. We are mustellids... the first carnivorous mammals. Badgers, weasels, otters, WOLVERINES are mustellids. Yes..... skunks too. What would a lovable, harmless, little fuzzball ferret have to do, to get an appy to become an Xtreme Idiot? I rarely, if ever - play on any other servers anymore. I have played COD2 for so friggin' long now (thousands of maps collectively over the years, I'd say), I don't really care too much about high scores or stats or "proving myself" anymore - it's about playing with likable folks that make me laugh, which keeps the game interesting & fun. Well, I'll be honest - I DO want that "Slappy Happy Medal" back. I had it for a while last year, and now I want it back. Kamikaze... I'm comin' for ya. To me, "online gaming" is more about the people, than the game itself. That's what single player is for. I have certainly been an idiot my whole life.... but hanging out with guys has INDEED made me more Xtreme, in that regard. If you let me join, I promise i will TRY to stop bashing/humiliating the admins so often....
