Usually the first thing a bad virus does is overwrites a system file and then the rest goes to hell. Look in your windows folder for cmd.exe (or search for it) make sure you run it as administrator and type in sfc/scannow this will replace the system files that may be infected and then run the Spybot and MalwareBytes programs. As a sidenote Spybot has an advanced mode that lets you edit startup items, its on the menu bar. If you see one that says anything like a random set of numbers and letters, you can disable it and then run the others. For example aahhh333bdh.exe Remember anything you download/update on an infected PC may not be actually going to the correct website for updates.
