I love it when I rip a massive fart in the car, just as I'm pulling into a parking spot. I get to sit there and enjoy it for a while.

I really don't like posting topics like this, but I need to share this with someone. Last week, my grandpa died rather unexpectedly. The funeral was today. He was born in 1924, and he had quite the long, full life. Still, it doesn't help that he's gone now. It was rather a shocker when we found out he died. We had visited with him and his wife 3 days before. He served in WW2, and almost took part in the invasion of the Japanese Homeland. Odds are, if it wasn't for the atomic bomb, me, or most of my family, wouldn't be here. Anyways, the world lost a fine man. Thanks for letting me share.

The only thing that's keeping me from Windows 8 (and the Microsoft 2013 software) is the BUTT UGLY GUI! I don't know what Microsoft was thinking, but whoever came up with that GUI should be fired with extreme violence.

Try using Photorec http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec. It's a command prompt based utility that will recover files that have been deleted, but not overwritten. You might not get everything back, but you will hopefully be able to get most things back. I've had good luck recovering files with this utility on hard drives that had been "formatted" and the OS reinstalled.

Yup. It's a problem with the Realtek Drivers. If there's no mic connected, the game won't launch for me. It has to be the fron panel, as well. Having it in the back panel doesn't do me any good.

Just as an FYI: It's legal to shoot someone to protect property in Texas. Is it morally right? Well, that has to be a decision everyone makes for themselves. I'm no expert on Texas law, and there's probably some constraints.

Unfortunately, there's not enough information to make a good decision. With just that info, I'd sit and wait it out. But, at the end of the day, if it's a choice between shooting down an airline, or letting it crash into a building, it's going to get shot down. Plus, I highly doubt an terrorist could get away with hijacking an airline today. We learned our lessons from 9/11. The only way to hijack an airline would be to kill everyone on board. Otherwise, you're going to have a swift and violent insurrection on your hands.

I moved and got a massive upgrade in the internet department. Went from 1Mbs DSL with 100+ ping to 20Mbs cable with what looks to be an average ping of 50. MWAHAHAHAHAH!!!! Of course, now I have no excuse when you guys hand me my ass on a silver platter. But the fast internet is SO NICE!!!! I could definitely get spoiled by this kind of speed.
