Cross Posted August 3, 2012 Member ID: 3610 Group: ***- Inactive Clan Members Followers: 8 Topic Count: 31 Topics Per Day: 0.01 Content Count: 344 Content Per Day: 0.07 Reputation: 280 Achievement Points: 2410 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 2 Joined: 08/03/12 Status: Offline Last Seen: April 8, 2020 Birthday: 02/21/1983 Posted August 3, 2012 i think there is a bigger issue with the sniper rifles than just range or bullet penetration anyone notice that you have to hold your breath just about to the limit before shooting or the bulllet wont even register ive tested this on both mw2 and server 1 servers for ft for cod4 and if you shoot a wall you see the bullet on the wall with ANY gun you shoot at it with however if you use a sniper rifle and if you dont hold your breath 85 percent of the time there will be no Bullet impact on the wall or object your shooting its as if you never shot the bullet at all i find that quite annoying i can handle the range or it even though thats annoying as well but the fact that the bullet doesnt even register at the target is the most annoying of all Awards

But as was posted many times already here the cod4 stock sniper rifles have been a little buggy from the start. Which is why sniper servers tend to turn sway off so there is no need to hold breath. If it helps you then I will say my 2 years of modding this game has given me lots and lots of time to discover this for myself. Take away the sway and the need to hold breath and the sniper rifles are deadly accurate. edit: forgot to add... some servers have 'long range' sniper rifles which are modded to have a much longer range than the stock ones have. However to get that to work changes the nature of some things. One of which is no bullet impacts. Edited August 4, 2012 by Sammy Awards
