I got that a few times last week Dean, i had just updated my graphics drivers, i always had it to "keep the current colour scheme" but changed it to "windows basic" and it stopped popping up.

you have to get a six hundred dollar video card...lol....i have never seen that except on a laptop with 32 bit....i think it has to do with the 64 bit and 32 bit difference,,,all the computers with 64 bit i believe don't have to change to basic theme for better preformance...its mostly 32 bit opertating systems..hope you get it solved..annoying fucking pop ups

you can run any color scheme you want but you need to get more ram or disable AERO

 

Aero is the transparency that happens when you have multiple windows open you hold on one and it goes clear so you can see the window underneath.

 

you can make your own color scheme background, pics or whatever you want but make sure its not an aero theme. Look at personalization in control panel.
